"What?"

Mike looked at him with a puzzled look, "You don't remember?"

Will thought for a minute. He tried his best to recall the memory before everything went black. But his head still ached and his brain felt like a spinning toll. It was practically impossible to even try.

He shook his head.

"Well, I wasn't there when it happened but we all know this was El"

Will shook his head again, "No, she would never do that, what makes you believe that?"

Mike stared down at the ground. It seemed that there was more going on than just him getting hurt.
"Well, she disappeared for a good week after the accident"

"What?"

He nodded, "Yeah... And then one day, I found her standing here, in front of the hospital. She bursted into tears and apologized over and over again"

"Is she okay?"

Mike looked up at him as let out a sarcastic laugh, "You're really asking if she's fine after what she did to you?"

Will didn't respond.

"Yes, she feels guilty... as she should. I am extremely mad at her, even after she explained why she went to your house that day..."

Suddenly a vague image flashed through Will's mind. El was standing in front of him, yelling: "Kissing isn't arguing !"

He gasped, "she found out", he said with a small hint of panic.

"Yeah and that's all my fault to be honest.. I totally forgot I had this date with her and of course she got worried when I didn't show up and used her powers-"

Will gaped at him in horror, "she... she saw us?"

"Most likely, yes"

Guilt. Guilt was all Will could feel right now, except for his throbbing head of course. Eleven had found out about them in the most horrible way. She didn't deserve that at all. She has always been good to Mike. She didn't deserve Mike cheating on her, because that was what happened. And he was the cause...

"Still didn't give her the right to hurt you........ okay she feels horrible now but-"

Mike's words drifted into the background as thoughts clouded his mind. Slowly but surely all the pieces started to get in its place. El had hurt him, but only because she must have been so hurt seeing him with Mike. He was her best friend and basically took her boyfriend away from her. What friend does that?

"You're a bad person and a liar"

It was true. Only a bad person gets into another ones relationship. He deserved this and even worse.

Will Byers is meant to suffer

Will Byers can't be happy

Will Byers can't have love

Will Byers shoud have died in the Upside Down.

"... and I made it clear to her that she and I are-"

They were interrupted by a knock on the door. A middle aged woman walked in.

"How is Byers doing young Wheeler?- oh"

Both boys looked up. The nurse looked surprised at Will as he was clearly awake now.

"I thought we had agreed you would notify me immediately when Byers wakes up, haven't we Mr Wheeler?" she said dissapointed.
