📍bus stop

"hey love birds!" lexie said as she walked up to us.

dylan widened his eyes at me and i shrugged.

"what's good?!" ryan asked, dabbing dylan and i up.

"this your ex?" lexie asked, pointing to shay.

"what?" shay asked.

"you're dylan's ex??" lexie repeated, making herself more clear.

my eyes widened and i put my hand on shay's shoulder.

"come on shay! let's go." i said, walking with her while dylan stayed to talk to lexie and ryan.

"i'm so confused." shay chuckled awkwardly.

"don't worry, they clearly are too." i shrugged.

we sat down at some chairs in front of a store.

"liv, can we talk?" shay asked.

i was worried. really worried as to what shay would say.

"yeah of course." i said.

"so, this whole long distance thing has been really hard. like olivia, we were doing so great when we were together. and i'm so so so sad without you. like i'm so lonely. i don't know what to do without you." shay said.

"oh." i frowned, scared shay would drop the breakup bomb on me.

it's not like i liked dylan. at least i don't think i like dylan. and i'm seriously in love with shay rudolph but i want to be there for dylan and shay at the same time but dylan is two steps away and shay seems like an eternity away.

"it's not like i want to break up! i just want to call you more and text you more. honestly, i feel like i can't even reach you anymore." shay explained.

"i get it. and i will text you more shay. i promise." i said.

we both got up and shay kissed me right on the lips.

"this is why i love you." she smirked.
