i slipped through the hall quietly, hiding behind the corner of the walls. i spotted her. the blonde haired, blue eyed girl that i called my girlfriend.
her eyes caught mine and my stomach fluttered. i turned around quick and ran, hearing her laughs from behind me.
i ran and ran until i couldn't run anymore. her body jumping onto mine, we crashed onto the ground.
"got you." shay said.
present day
"got you." i said, nodding.
shay was holding my hands in hers, telling me all the things i needed to remember.
"come back for my birthday, and christmas, and thanksgiving, and easter, and 4th of july, and basically for every holiday ever made." shay said.
"got it." i said.
"please don't forget about me." she whined, jumping into my arms and giving me the biggest hug.
"i won't. we'll kill this long distance thing." i promised.
she pulled away, sitting on my lap.
"i still can't believe you're moving." she whispered.
"me neither." i mumbled.
