Chapter 5:For the first time

"Eddie!?", I hugged him soon as he got off top of me and he hugged me back, he was drenched. "Eddie, your fucking drenched.", I said holding him by his shoulders looking into his sad puppy eyes almost about to cry, "Hey...Ed, it's ok...", I put my hand on his face caressing his cheek with my thumb.
After me and him settled down and sat side by side underneath the rock. "Y/N, you believe I didn't kill her right?", he looked at the ground holding my hand fiddling with my fingers. "Of course I believe you Eddie.", I replied, "You would never hurt a fly, I know it to.", he chuckled and rested his head on my shoulder. "Your one of my best friends Eddie.", I said resting my head on his head.
Eddie was already sleeping, he must have been really tired, running away every time he's close to trouble. I stayed with him for the rest of the night, I couldn't leave him here by himself, how could I do that, it was the first time in forever I seen him.

Gareth's POV

"Are y'all dating",  Phill asked.
"I don't know!?", I replied.
"But y'all said 'Im in love with you' to each other.", Jeff said.
"Ya but we're not official!", I covered my face in a blushing mess.
All Jeff and Phill did was look at me, no more questions. God, I wish Y/N was still here at least then I wouldn't have to be with these two idiots.

Y/N's POV

In the morning, I decided to leave Eddie, I left him a couple of snacks next to him.
When I got to Gareth's house, I knock on the door waiting for an answer. Once the door opened, it was his mom, "Oh hello?", she said I'm a sweet tone. "Hi.", I shyly said, i never met his mom before, I looked down not wanting to make eye contact. "I'm here for Gareth.", "Oh, he's right up stairs in his bedroom.", she let me inside the led me upstairs and pointed at the door straight down the hall.
I knocked on Gareth's door, he opened it. He was in his pajama pants and no shirt. I quickly looked down blushing, "H-hey-!", I nervously said, he grabbed me by my chin to look up at him which made me blush even more. "Hey~.", he said in a playful way and letting me into his room. His room was almost covered in posters of his favorite bands and his full size bed in the corner next to his dresser. I sat on his bed and so did he while putting on a plain black shirt. "So what's up, Y/N?", he looked at me. I felt nervous, "Well...I wanted to ask....to ask..", I stared into his eyes trying my best to keep eye contact. "I was wondering if...you want to be my boyfriend.", I broke eye contact after what I said. "I've always wanted to be with you, and only you.", I blushed starting to tear up. Gareth put his hands on my face and pulled me in for a short kiss, "Of course I do Y/N!", he quickly responded and kissed me longer. This felt like a dream, good thing it wasn't.

Me and Gareth covered each other's necks and lower bodies is hickies and love bites that was almost poorly covered. For the rest of the day we just looked into each other's eyes, whispering each other sweet nothings. I never felt this happy with someone before.
