Jealousy and surprises {Gareth x Reader} Chapter 6

It was the 6th day of the sleep over, two more days left and spring break is over. We all decided to go out to my backyard and swim in my pool with drinks and snacks.

"Ok, Y/N", Phill said, "I know your rich but not this rich—.", He pointed at the huge pool in my backyard.

"Well, ya, ", I replied, "My parents are busy people and likes this bigger.", everyone was swimming, splashing and chicken fighting. Gareth had pulled me into the water holding onto me, he knew I couldn't swim so he kept us both on the shallow side.

After a few hours of being in the pool, we all went inside and took showers one by one. Once everyone was done, we watched a movie and played some games till we heard the door. "I got it.", Gareth said kissing my forehead as he got up. He opened the door and said, "Chrissy? What are you doing here?", he guided her in and everyone turned to look at her. Her face eyes were red from crying. I got up and rushed over to her. "Chrissy..", I put my hand on her face and looked into her eyes, "Let's go up stairs.", I walked her upstairs up to my room.

Gareth's POV

Soon as I saw Y/N put their hand on Chrissy's face, I felt kinda jealous. Why am I jealous—they're just friends. I sat back down on the couch with a frown and my arms crossed sinking into the couch.

"Is someone—jealous?", Lucas asked looking at me.
Everyone turned to me, I didn't say a word. Jeff squeezed my face and made my mouth trying to mimic my voice, "Yes, I am jealous.", everyone laughed and I turned away. "Am not.", I said. "Then why are your ears red?", Eddie asked still laughing, "That happens when your mad or even jealous.", I covered my ears, "No! They're always red!", everyone just gave me a "Suuurrree." face.
Once Y/N and Chrissy came downstairs holding hands, I saw that Chrissy was in Y/N's Metallica shirt, the one we just bought from the mall. I just stared at Y/N. "Chrissy and Jason had broken up.", y/N said sitting down and cuddling me, I had quickly scooted away. She looked at me and sat up, "Alright then.", she said under her breath. "What were you guys playing?", Chrissy asked Y/N. "Just a little bit of Monopoly, you can join if you like.", Y/N responded. Chrissy shook her head, "I'm good.".

Y/N's POV

Once we were all done, I quickly grabbed Gareth's had and brung him upstairs to my room. "Ok, what is wrong with you?", I said closing the door. "Nothing.", he lied. "Your ears are red, my love.", I said observing his ears. He looked down. "Your jealous.", I said. He nodded and sat onto my bed. "You know there is nothing going on between me and Chrissy right?", I said looking into his eyes. He nodded, "I guess I was just overeating.", he said holding onto my hand. "No you weren't.", I said kissing him. He pulled me in by my waist and hugged me.

After we went downstairs everyone was watching the movie, Chrissy was sitting with Dustin and Robin. "So Chrissy,", Steve said, "Wanna join the group?", he asked looking at her. "Well...", she hesitated in her thoughts, "...of course! You guys seem really fun and cool anyways. I already know Y/N, Nancy, Eddie, Steve, and Lucas, but I would love to get to know all of you!", she said with a smile. Everyone smiles back. "Since your now one of us, would you like your nails painted black?", I asked and she nodded. I did her nails as we watched them movie.

Everyone was sleeping. Chrissy was sleeping on Robin's shoulder.
I heard the doorbell ring, I got up to open it. I saw Mike, Eleven, Jonathan, Will, and some long haired dude. "What the fuck-?", I said in a questioning way. I had hugged all of them but the long haired dude but he joined in anyways. Everyone had woken up and saw them. I was still hugging Eleven, "What are you guys doing here-?!", I held Eleven by her shoulders. She looked at me with an awkward smile till I realized her hair was shaved. "Oh-.", I responded.

Soon as we got them inside we introduced each other. Nancy and Jonathan were cuddled up, Steve was a bit jealous. "So Papa was back, you were in a lab for almost a whole week, you have your powers back and Papa is now dead-.", I asked Eleven. "Yes, basically.", she said. I sighed, "Well holy shit.", I said. "But what about your powers?", Eleven asked. Eddie, Gareth, Phill, Jeff, and Chrissy looked at me. "YOU HAVE POWERS-?!", they all screamed. "Well..ya.", Steve said. "Y/N just doesn't use them anymore.", Dustin added. "They would've been taken or killed.", Nancy also added. "Thanks guys-.", I said sarcastically, "Mainly because of the Russians, the Mind flayer, and Dr. Brenner. I still have my powers tho, El.", I smiled at her. Argyle on the other hand was with Opal petting her, "Opal...that's like—my favorite crystal.", we all looked at him. "Is he high?", Eddie asked. "Yes I am, bro.", he said pulling out a blunt, "Purple Palm Tree delight?", "Definitely!", Eddie answered quickly getting up and going outside with Argyle.
A few hours past, we all went to sleep after talking and going over stuff. It was nearly morning, but we were all extremely tired so we slept in for an hour or two.

Nancy, Jonathan, Eleven, Argyle, Mike, and Will left my place to go to Hoppers old cabin. Everyone else was bored, I don't think there's anything else we can do but play games, so we continued to do that.
