TW {Murder and mention of blood and knives}

It was October 31, 1986, Halloween.

My parents were out of town for my cousin Terri's birthday in Hawaii, so it's just me and my friends hanging out, we were planning the most metal, scary, crazy fucking party of our lives! We were debating on who gets to have it at their house, it was just down to me and Gareth.
"Y/N, your house the biggest!", Eddie said as raised up his arms, "Plus the pool would be a BLOOD BATH! Come on your parents can't be that mad if we mess it up a bit."
"Absolutely not!", I said slamming my hand on the table, "My parents would kill me themselves if they see the amount of blood around.", "Babe.", Gareth said as looked at me, "Please, my parents would kill me to if I did the same." I looked at him and then around the living room. I slouched into my chair and let out a huge huff.

"So what would it be~?", Gareth says as he gets in between my legs, my face turn's completely red as he inched closer to my face. "You guy will clean the floor right?", I asked as I comb my hand through his hair. "Promise.", he chuckled as he kissed me.

"You guys are gross.", Jeff said as looked at us raising an eyebrow. "Whatever Jeff.", I smiled and laughed. "So what's the theme?", Gareth asked. I looked around my living room and down the hallways and got an idea. "The Shining.", I smiled with complete evil till I heard Opal meowing. "Oh, let's drop Opal off at Dustin's first.", I said looking at Eddie.

9:40 pm, we were finished with the decorations, food, drinks, and fake blood in buckets. Everyone from school and a friends was here like Steve, Robin, and Nancy. Meanwhile, I was upstairs getting ready putting on my costume, Wendy Torrance, she's one of my favorite character from The Shining.
Soon as I was ready I climbed up the attic that's in my bedroom and checked in on everything with Eddie and Jeff. "So, how's it going up here?", I asked with a grin. "Going fantastic,", Eddie said pulling up his Michael Myers mask, "the blood looks very realistic and the bits of guts are actually pretty cool to.","I rather not look at that but it's sick!", Jeff said wincing at it. All of a sudden I felt a small tug on the ankle of my pants, it was Gareth. "Show time.", he said holding out his hand for my hand to help me down. "Alright then, let's get this party started!", I said happily and grabbing his hand, "Wait what's your costume?","Im supposed to be a vampire, one of your favorite monsters.", Gareth responded pulling me close by my waist. My face began turning red and I looked away in a second, "OK! Let's get downstairs!", I said pulling him down the hall.

Once we got downstairs, everyone was dancing, drinking, eating, and making out in corners unaware of what this party will turn out to be. 
Gareth had his hand around my waist as he walked with me to the kitchen. "You know,", he said as he leaned it, "what if we actually cause a couple murders here and there? No fake blood, just real." I turned to look at him with wide eyes. "I think not.", I said lightly pushing him off, "I'm just trying to do a light scare, not a really mass murder.", "Oh but it'll be fun, angel.", "No, Gareth.", "Fine, whatever you say." He then stormed out of the kitchen and down the hall.

A few hrs had passed people were still doing there thing till a sudden scream came from outside. Everyone stopped and peered out to the pool only to see blood almost covering the water of the pool and a dead body as well. I went outside to check it out and to grab the body's hand, it felt...real. I jumped back immediately.
