It was now the next Thursday, three in the afternoon. Diamond and i took the day off from the coffee shop. Diamond was doing Ja'cione's hair as i watched the tv. I was wrapped up in a blanket with Ada, who was sound asleep on my chest.
I asked to watch her because i missed her, but Mike would be back after he got off of work, he had to train a couple of people today. Kiana was out running errands and getting things right for her gym reopening and her website products and stuff. She was so excited to get back to work.
I adored my niece's little life, she's so cute. I can't wait until she gets older. She's the best thing that happened to me so far in my life.
I felt my phone vibrate, it was Dave. I've been avoiding him ever since he up and left on our girls night. I'm pretty sure he'd figure it out by now.
"Why you still avoiding that man?" Diamond said questioning me.
"I told you why."
"How you get him and now you don't want him?" Diamond replied shaking her head at me.
"That's Shari for you." Ja'cione said before there was a knock at my door.
He got up answering it. Of course it was Dave who popped up. He greeted Ja'cione introducing himself , speaking to Diamond then giving me a look. I just continued admiring Ada like he didn't exist as he sat on the other end of the couch.
Ja'cione decided to yawn loudly on purpose waking Ada up, if looks could kill he would be dead.
"I got her." He responded smirking at me as he took Ada away from me. I passed him her bottle sitting up, i watched as he walked her around talking to her. Once she was calm again, it was quiet.
"I'm gonna go watch ada with him." Diamond responded getting up quickly because she knew things were awkward.
"Why the fuck you been avoiding me..for two whole weeks?"dave spoke now sitting all up in my personal space.
"Cause." I stated simply looking at my nails.
"Cause what? I don't got time to be playing games and shit. I got two daughters at home for that. If you didn't want me for real, you could've left me right in that coffee shop." He actually looked hurt, now i feel like an asshole.
"You mad at me cause i ain't dick you down on your girls night...you gotta grow up."
"Are you done yet?" I asked yawning.
"Hell nah. You so quick to buss it open but won't open your mouth to tell me what's going on, how that work?"
"Ooop." I heard a voice said and some smacking noises. It was Diamond snacking on some candy.
I gave her a look, warning her to leave.
"Ok, ok I'm leaving. Just know if you Ike.. I'm Tina." She said glaring at Dave.
"Oh Nah you wildn." Dave responded with a frowned up face.
I rolled my eyes as she walked away, now looking back at David. "You can relax..it's not that deep."
"The hell it is..you been ignoring me like i don't exist. That's how you feeling?"
"I don't know."
"Shari what's the problem?" He asked louder than usual. I flinched at the change in his voice, it was scary.
"I was mad about your Instagram post.....but i knew you were just working. I know it's just a video shoot."
"You gotta understand it's apart of this lifestyle, i don't even be thinking about them girls. Shits get tiring."
