I arrived here at Shari's family gathering since I was invited. I'm honestly here for Shari, but she hasn't popped up yet, so I was just sitting here looking lost. Haven't heard from her since Wednesday, her location was still off. Man honestly I'm lost and confused all in one. But I know for a fact she been with Antonio, I been watching her stories, and yes I feel some type of way but I'm trying to let the shit slide. I'll really be at peace when I found out what's going on with us. The fact that she keeps avoiding me is crazy. Her dad even gave me her air bb location but I didn't go because I was afraid of seeing something that would make me hurt Antonio. I still feel like I know he's sneaky, he's not fooling me and Shari ain't no saint either...but I still love her.
"Hey Dave, you ok?" Ari said smiling as she sat across from me.
"Yeah..I'm good." I smiled looking up at her. I noticed she had a certain glow to her now, she looked very happy.
"That's good, I enjoyed the sandwiches they were delicious, I'm definitely coming back for more soon."
"Word? I'm glad just let me know. "
"Will do. Look Shari's finally here. Now we can have some fun." She clapped her hands excitedly walking away.
I didn't even bother standing up I just waited to see if she would notice me. Seem like it took her forever to get to me.
"Hi, Dave."
"Wassup ma?" I said taking her all in as she sat down beside me.
"Nothing much."
"You enjoyed your getaway?"
"Yes, I did actually. It was very peaceful. What about you?"
"Nun just the same ole thing..I missed you."
"Yeah..I missed you too." She said looking in my eyes.
It looked like she was scared or something though.
"Word?"
"Yes..I wanna stay with you tonight...if that's ok."
"That's cool." I shrugged wondering if she really was going to stay with me, I never know what to expect from her.
Then Antonio came walking in speaking to everyone, I ignored the fuck outta him, right now he doesn't exist to me.
