Shari
It was now Saturday going on twelve thirty in the afternoon. i'm sitting down in my room scrolling through my phone. I heard my name being called loudly by Chris down the hallway. He's really been entertaining me while I'm here and he's very funny and has a great personality.
I don't know why but I'm going to be sad when I leave him here.
It doesn't look like he's leaving anytime soon and I hate that for him.
"Yo Shari! You in your room?"
"Yes Chris."
"Some fine ass lady here to see you!" He yelled loudly walking into my room.
I saw Lauren following behind him, she just shook her head and smiled a little.
I could tell her guard was up though, I didn't blame her.
Once she spotted me she started smiling and waved at me. I saw she had a Starbucks bag full of food and some drinks.
She looked so beautiful she had on a green satin dress that showed off her curves.
Chris was just staring at us like he didn't have anything else to do.
"Thanks Chris."
"No problem." He said sitting down in the recliner next to my bed.
"Uh...Chris...you can leave now." I said in the nicest way possible.
"Oh my bad. I don't got nothing else to do. I might go take a nap in the pool or something."
Lauren looked at me then she looked at him concerned again, "Uh...Aren't you afraid of drowning?"
"Not really. I tried that yesterday. I failed." He sighed heavily walking out of the room.
"Did he really do that?"
"Yes, it was hard to watch...he isn't kidding."
"Aww I wish I could help...does he have a therapist?"
"Yes but he doesn't like her because he feel like she doesn't listen to him."
"Gosh, I hate that for him...How are you feeling?"
"Today I'm great, I haven't really been having negative thoughts."
"That's good to hear."
"You're my first visitor actually so I'm happy about that."
"Awww, I could've FaceTimed you but, i decided to come see you instead."
"I'm just glad you're here."
"Yeah, me too. You look so beautiful Shari.''
"Thanks, i tried making myself look like someone today. You look amazing." I smiled putting my phone away.
"Shari, you always look like somebody and thanks girl. So have you been participating in any of the activities?"
"Some of them not all."
"Well that's good to hear, what are your favorites so far?''
''I've been listening to music, writing songs and drawing actually. seems like those are the only things that keeps me sane."
"That's good to hear. Missing everyone aren't you?"
"Yes, David mostly. I'm having withdrawals."
"You just have to hold out girl that's all...you'll be fine."
"Hopefully...they took my rose away." I slid the down the wall dramatically.
"Girl- Please. You knew you couldn't bring that in here." Lauren laughed then her phone started ringing.
