It's been a month since i last seen or talk to Shari. We haven't been checking in on each other at all. The closest interaction we get now is on social media. I will say I really believe I'm at peace with everything now. Finally, i can go to sleep again by myself without being next to someone. It feels good to go to bed without having to worry about someone harming themselves. I'm not stressed at all, guess I do feel some kind of freedom and I'm happy about that.  I've been focusing on my own mental health mostly and my kids and my family. They all doing fine and that's all that matters to me. Currently, I'm at my store it was packed more than usual today.

I sat on the counter just looking around at everything.
Spotting a frequent customer of mine, I called her over to me. She never really talked much she just waves at me, comes for food and then she would dip.  She was fine as hell and her body was definitely fire.  I still don't know her name though. She seemed calmed though and she stays to herself.

"What's your name?" I asked looking at her.

"Iyana...but my friends called me yaya."

"I like that. I see you come in here a lot."

"Yeah, the food is very good. It's very dope in here."

"Thanks, I appreciate you. Can I get your number?" I smiled.

"No thanks...I don't really give out my number much."

"Damn....it's like that." I chuckled.

"Sorry...you seem like a cool dude though."

"I can respect that, and I am once you get to know me. Just give me a chance. I'm not a weirdo...trust me."

Iyana was hesitant about it at first, but then she finally decided to give in. She typed in her number, and Once she passed me back my phone, her Instagram page was on my screen. I tapped the follow button immediately.

"I'm just letting you know..I don't do the whole love thing." Iyana said softly.

"Why not?"

"Because all men are the same. I don't have the time for the games and silly shit."

"See..you can't think like that..all guys are not the same and I'm one of 'em."

"Mhmmm...ok we'll see."

"Yes we will." I smiled watching as she placed her order.

I signaled for my employee not to charge her so she could get her food for free.

"Nope no freebies." Iyana stated trying to argue with me but honestly I'm hard headed and I don't listen.

"You stubborn I see." I squinted at her.
