Chapter 15: Defeating the Water Beast

"That looks ominous.. be careful ok.. don't do anything you shouldn't"

Link: "bop"
He 'bop's (places) the slate onto the terminal before it glows it's blue glow. Some malice bursts out and forms behind us

"What did I say?!"

Link: "I didn't do anything!"

"Then what's that?!"

Mipha: "that is waterblight Ganon. The very beast that had bested me 100 years ago. Be careful Link.. you too (y/n)"

".. I am so dead.."

Link: "..."
He looks serious and gets into his fighting stance

Present

Link: "I never expected it to be that.. gross"

"Now isn't the time for jokes!"
I shout dodging the giant ice block that was flung in my direction

Link: "Sorry! We need a strategy!"

"Try shooting It's eye"
Link takes his bow and knocks an ice arrow he collected from a chest earlier in the beast

It connects with the malice creature's eye as ice spikes sprout out. The blight falls to the ground shattering the ice on impact with the floor. Me and Link both hit it with our weapons until the creature gets up

It's giant spear swings wildly as it floats upwards in the air as if it was in water. It ended up hitting Link backwards breaking his shield that he blocked with. I managed to run back in time.

"Link! Catch!"
I frisbee my wooden shield to him and he catches it. Looking down at the defensive tool/weapon I gave him for a moment before shaking off the thought, Link regain's his stance

"You good?"

Link: "deja vu just hit me. But I'm alright"

"Good because I need you here buddy. Not back to whenever you are remembering"

I jump over the spear that is swept across the ground at us before losing balance and falling over in the ankle deep water.

Link flips over the attack and dashes forward slashing the beast multiple times. He runs back getting ready to fight more

The beast roars and throws more ice blocks at us, Link shatters them using his cryonis rune.

"Boost me up, I have a plan"
Link aims his cryonis rune under me causing a pillar of ice to spring up, lifting me high enough to stab my spear at the blight

My spear finds it's way into the side of the beast, digging into it's 'flesh' before it breaks into multiple pieces. The blade and part of the shaft fall out of the beast's wound as I am left holding a wooden pole

Link: "get out of there!"

I jump into the water landing on my feet bending my knees on landing. I take the moment to grab the spear part and run
