Chapter 25: Infiltration

Me and Link both peer round the corner of the mountain pass to ensure the coast is clear

"Do you have any.. darker clothes? For stealth. My purple and black is dark enough but your bright blue tunic is quite obvious"

Link: "actually before I had headed towards Rito village, I had made a quick stop past Kakuriko and got a stealth outfit"

"Cool, you change into tha- why did you even go back to Kakariko in the first place?"

Link: "to tell Impa about our.. plan to split up"

"Any stealth outfits for me?"

Link: "sorry.. I didn't actually expect you to come and find me"
I turn to see he is already fully changed into the sheikah ninja outfit

"... how did you..? Never mind.. let's plan this out"

Link: "okay.. here's an idea, one of us fake getting captured while in the Vai disguise and the other sneaks past and frees them once the coast is clear?"

"Or we could both sneak past, what will they do once we get captured. Fake or no it's too risky"

Link: "how much are you willing to risk for the necklace"

"It.. it's important to me ok. I got it during a difficult time in my life with stress.. it's like a small reminder about all my family and loved ones supporting me through it without even knowing.. I'd do anything to get it back"

Link: "anything.. it really must mean a lot to you.. I'm sorry about the stresses and that it was stolen"

"Heh, it's not your fault, I'd just love to get it back now"

Link: "how about we see the inside, there might be a back door to find that could be easier"

"One sneaks in at either door, meet outside after getting the necklace and thunder-helm.. right?"

Link: "I can't shake this feeling that something else is going on behind the scenes.. I don't want to split up too far. Not again.."

"Especially not in the enemies secret hide out where we know nothing to give us an advantage.. oh here's an idea. Let's just improvise and get this over with. We sneak in all ninja style, steal back our stuff and leave"

While I say that I use my hands to emphasise the 'ninja style' and 'sneak' by imitating karate moves

Link: "this must be the main entrance.. but where is the actual way in?"

We both examine the walls for any clues. The octagon shaped room had wooden tapestries with the yiga symbol on each wall, a single knock on each one will confirm which is hollow and which is a solid wall.

"The torches must be important.. try lighting one and setting a fire on this podium"
I saw questioningly as I pick a torch up that was leaning against a wall.

Link: "maybe if we pick the correct wall with the most accurate logo then burn it, we could see if that works"

"Only issue is they look too similar.. better to just light the torches and see if there's any airflow through any hidden doors?"

Link: "yep.. I understood that.. you mean see if any embers float towards the real door right?"

After all the walls failed to show us the way forward, Link just decided to try them all. Some had a Keese or two behind it others had some supplies like torches, arrows or fruit. The way forward now revealed, gives me and Link the chance to continue through to the next room. There is a walkway, I believe it's called a catwalk, a raised platform like a bridge over a lower floor. On the other end of the catwalk is a jail cell holding a gerudo woman.
