"Did you see your aunt?" You inquired.
"Yeah," Zach frowned. It was evident that he wasn't too fond of her. "It was pretty short."
"Oh," You stated. After that, the conversation went completely silent. All that was heard were background noises made by the other tourists and dinosaurs. As you walked outside, you observed all of your surroundings. Everything around you had something new and exciting to do. It was almost overwhelming.
"So, where are we going first?" Zach piped up.
"Can we go ride on the baby dinosaurs?" Gray asked excitedly. "They're not far from here."
"I don't see why not." You shrugged.
Gray immediately zoomed towards the dinosaur pen. As you followed him, you saw all of the dinosaurs inside. Lots of kids were playing and also riding on each baby dinosaur. All of them were giggling and having a good time. Gray was young so he was able to ride on one of them. She was going relatively slow, but that was to be expected.
"Hey, you wanna ride on those things?" Zach questioned. He noticed your eyes staring at the Apatosaurus.
"I'm too big for that." You replied, "I'd probably crush the poor thing."
"You're right." He agreed, "This place is for little kids."
"Hey, dinosaurs are meant for everybody." You stated, "And, besides, they're other rides too."
"I guess," Zach replied, looking away. However, you still gazed at him.
"You don't seem to like your aunt, do you?" You inquired randomly. "Every time she's brought up, you get kinda upset."
Zach stared back at you. A frown then laced upon his facial features.
"It's none of my business, but I've noticed." You mentioned, "You don't have to tell me your reason."
"She's just--" He paused, trying to figure out what to say. "She's just, um--"
"Were you two close?" You interrupted, causing Zach to freeze. Realizing your mistake, you quickly changed the subject. "Um, as I said before, it's none of my business."
You then went back to staring at the dinosaurs, however, you flinched when you felt something rub against your knee. Looking down in surprise, you saw the same baby Apatosaurus being the culprit. She nuzzled against your knee with pure affection. She must've approached you without you noticing.
"Wow," Zach commented, "That long neck really likes you."
"You have a point." You said, "And, it's called an Apatosaurus."
"Thanks, for the lesson, Alan Grant." He smirked before crossing his arms.
"The more you know." You smiled and then winked. The workers noticed her absence and then brought the baby back to the middle of the pen, however, they asked if you could join her. You nodded and then followed her inside. Zach watched as you fed and then petted the baby with a smile.
Maybe they weren't so childish after all.

"Did you guys see me?" Gray smiled. As you left the pen, he ran up towards you.
"Yeah, we did." You nodded, "How was it?"
"It was so awesome!" He cheered.
"So, where to next?" Zach questioned.
"Let's go on the Dino Spinning Eggs." You replied.
"YES!" Gray cheered, "Come on, let's go!"
"Shouldn't we let Zara know?" You asked, pointing at her. She was on her phone talking to someone. There were mentions of a wedding and the groom's friends. "Isn't she your babysitter?"
"I don't think she'll care." Zach shrugged, "We might as well leave."
"But--" You stopped when Zach grabbed your hand. Zach and Gray were dashing towards the next ride, but to you, everything felt like it was in slow motion. His hand was warm and soft as he guided you away from the obstacles. Turning back, you watched Zara get smaller and smaller until she was out of your sight. Finally, you arrived at the ride, but Zach still held your hand.
"Zach, you can release me now." You noted.
"Sorry." He mumbled softly, releasing his grip.
With the VIP passes, you three got on the ride fast. Gray was spinning the wheel like crazy, causing the egg to turn faster. The speed caused you and Zach to bump into each other a lot. It was awkward but you still had fun. The ride was, thankfully, over and you managed to get out. You put your hands on your knees to stop the dizziness.
"Don't spin so hard, Gray," Zach grumbled.
"Sorry," Gray apologized sheepishly while you checked your phone. The tracker that was on Hoskins was connected to your cell. That way you were able to see his whereabouts. Your eyes then widened when you saw Hoskins heading towards the centre.
"Um, I have to go get something!" You babbled before dashing away.
A/N: It's kinda a long weekend for me right now so I decided to post this early and then rest.
