Y/n continues to mop the floor. "About what happened a few days ago..." Y/n looks at the ghost sitting by the window sill. Hanako freezes for a sec, then places down a card. "Yeah? What about it." 

Y/n takes a breath in, then looks at her reflection in the mirror. "What happened after I died?" Hanako sighs. "You killed him. Didn't you?" She looks back at Hanako. He slowly nods. "Yeah..." He admits quietly. "I did..." 

She tilts her head. "But... Why?" "Well... Once I found out he was the cause of your death I was... Emotionally unstable... Which is fair, because... If you found out your brother killed your girlfriend it kind of breaks you and pisses you off. Ya know, the reason I always had bruises was because of him."

Y/n's eyes widen. "He... Did that to you? But... Why?" Hanako shrugs. "I don't know. But, one day, maybe a week or so after your death, I couldn't deal with him anymore. I lost myself and stabbed him." He lowers his hat over his face. "I stabbed him multiple times... I instantly regretted it and stabbed myself afterwards."

Y/n's face softens. She sets down her mop and walks over to him, hugging him. "Oh Amane... I'm so sorry I left you alone." She whispers softly. He hugs her back.

"It's alright. You were with me a bit after we died, and we're together again now, aren't we?" He replies, placing his chin on her shoulder. "Yeah, I guess..." She pulls away and fixes his hat for him once he followed.

She softly smiles. "I love you, Amane." "Love you too." He then stands up and stretches. "Ahhh, enough with being sappy. I'm gonna go get Yashiro, she needs to help you clean. It's how she'll pay me for the wish." Y/n chuckles. "Her wish that didn't work."

Hanako shrugs. "Mmm... True. I'll try something different at some point. Dunno." He replies. "Alright, alright. Well, go get her. She'll probably be in the garden." He nods. "Kay. I'll be back." Y/n hums and nods.

Yashiro and Y/n have been quietly cleaning until Yashiro stops and looks at the two. Hanako's quietly playing Hanafuda again, and Y/n's quietly scrubbing the mirrors. "Can I ask you something?" "Sure." Hanako replies. Y/n stays quiet.

"... Nevermind." For the most part their acting normal again, except... He won't talk to me about what happened two days ago. She looks at Y/n. And she won't either. Seems like they're acting like nothing happened. Maybe I should too.

"Hanako! Are you in there?" The three turn towards Kou's loud voice.

"Ohh boy!" Hanako says, looking at a pink haired boy. "Whaat is that?" Y/n turns to him, then turns back to Kou. "Why is he tied up like that? Isn't that kind of brutal?" "Oh N/n~. He probably did it in order to keep him from running away or something." Y/n narrows her eyes. "Oh shut it."

"An obnoxious evil spirit I caught harassing students at the middle school entrance." Kou says, giving the three a peace sign. Hanako hums. "Well... Aren't you gonna exorcise him?" 

The ghost stops and stares at the school wonder, scared. "Well..." He thinks about what Teru told him, then shakes his head. "I've given up on that. I just thought there'd be another way I can go! That isn't erasing him from the face of the earth!"

"You can warm a dead man's heart~!"

Y/n thinks. "Um... If he's a ghost, wouldn't he have unfinished business?" She asks, turning to the male beside her. Hanako nods. "Yeah. Some regrets. Probably the best place to start." He shrugs.
