All of a sudden, a bell started ringing. It ended up becoming darker, too.
"Okay... What's with the darkness?" Y/n asks, raising a brow. "Oh, my poor love." Hanako starts, both turn toward him. "It's just... If you aren't gonna join us, then there's no reason for you to be here." He giggles, turning into a huge bird.
It becomes lighter once he sees her. "Oh! No. 0, how great it is for you to be here! But isn't No. 7 usually with you?" Number three asks, tilting his head.
"Oh... Uhm... Actually, I kind of got sucked in here, so he's not with me."
"Oh. Okay. Well, do you want to have some tea and talk? It has been quite lonely once you stopped visiting."
Mitsuba gasps. "Don't forget me, jerk! I'm too adorable to be forgotten!" No. 3 looks at him. "What? You call that giant mass of pink 'adorable'? You might be a 7 at best."
Mitsuba falls to the ground. "Pfffft. I know right?" Y/n stifles her laughter.
The two were about to exit into the mirror until a different voice was heard. "Hello, Y/n!!" It shouts, running to her and wrapping its arms around her.
Y/n freezes. He giggles, looking at her. "How are you?" "T-Tsukasa... What are you doing here...?"
He looks at the bird next to her. "Oh. I just need to help someone gain more power. So.. Excuse me, please." He smiles, letting go of the girl and turning to the bird.
He then grabs the bird, smashing it to the ground multiple times. The mirror eventually breaks. Y/n steps back in shock, tears forming in her eyes.
"Oh no. Looks like I broke the mirror." Tsukasa says, letting go of No. 3's head. He then turns to Y/n, sending her a smile as she starts letting the tears fall.
"It's alright, Y/n. No need to cry over him. You'll get over it." He says, patting her head with his non-bloody hand.
"Mitsuba, c'mon." He says, walking the other male. "Get up." Mitsuba sniffles as Tsukasa reaches two bloody fingers to the pink-haired boy's cheek, spreading blood on it. "You really are hopeless. Can't do anything right, can you?"
His voice would be a lot more soothing if he didn't just kill a school wonder in its boundary.
He starts stroking Mitsuba's hair as he starts crying. "There there. It'll be alright."
Y/n turns her head towards the boys. He started crying... Did Tsukasa say something to him? She asks in her mind, her tears stop falling. Amane... Where are you?
She turned to her friend that's on the floor. They aren't supposed to be able to get harmed within their boundary... How'd he defeat No. 3 so easily...?
"I told you." Y/n tilts her head, turning to her old friend. "Don't you remember our conversation? You're too weak to survive in the living world, Mitsuba. Unless you wanna disappear, you're gonna have to work hard to get strong." He says, walking to the wonder and bending down.
"Hmm... I know it's here somewhere..." He raises his hand, readying it. "This'll be the fastest way." He puts his hand in the bird, taking the heart out. He turns to Mitsuba, smiling. "I took down the strong apparition for you, now all you have to do is eat it!"
Y/n's eyes widen. Oh god... Number three... She thinks, looking at the ground while tears swell up in her eyes once more.
