Hanako sets her down on the bed gently and walks to the door of the cage.

Where am I? Yashiro questions in her head, opening one eye. A... Prison... When she hears something click in place and a key-like sound, she turns her head to see Hanako walking away, Y/n next to him.

"W-Wait! Mio!" 

They both stop. Y/n turns to her boyfriend. "Can I...?" She whispers.

"Fine. Just for a few minutes, okay?" He replies, to which she nods and turns to her friend with a smile. "Yashiro~! You're awake!" She grins.

Yashiro looks hurt. "Mioai... So you really were there the whole time." She moves to the bars, gripping them tightly while looking at her friend desperately. "What do you think you're doing? Why would you do this?! Locking me up...?"

"I-I..." Y/n stutters, looking hurt for a second, then covering it up with a grin. "Because I like this world! It's fun having Hanako as a classmate once again! All of us can get along now, and even after school in different places! Isn't that cool?"

Yashiro looks down. "Mio... I'm not really dying... Am I?"

Y/n's face slightly drops. "What do you...?" She trails off.

"Just now... I heard Hanako say to Kou... I'm going to die in less than a year. That's a lie, right?! I'm..!!"

Y/n's face fully drops. "So.. I guess you heard, Nene."

Yashiro's also does. Then, she falls to her knees. "How... How can you just suddenly tell someone... they're going to die... Why... Why are you just doing whatever you want like this? I never know what either you or Hanako are thinking..." She says, tears dripping down her cheeks.

Y/n frowns. "Why...?" She walks closer to the cage, looking at her friend, her heart breaking in the process. "To be honest... I don't know..." She slides down to her knees as well, enveloping Yashiro into a hug. "I-It's going to be okay... Nene. We'll... We'll find a way to save you." Her grip on her friend tightens. We have to. She can feel her own eyes tear up.

"If you would stay here... You can live as long as you want." She stands up, turning away. "I have to go now. We'll get you when the world is done. Goodbye for now, Yashiro."

"Wait!!! Mioai!!!" She exclaims, standing up while reaching for her friend.

She then proceeds to mope around the whole cell for a bit.

Hanako dangled his legs from a wooden branch (ig-) coming off the tall tower. Y/n watched him from a distance, refusing to go up there due to her fear of heights caused by her death.

"Honorable No. 7, lady No. 0."

The said teens turned to the other. "Oh. No. 4."

"From now on, please don't use the gallery anyway you like. Although, I do thank you for your cooperation in creating this world. Honorable No. 7 and lady 0, do you plan on staying here?" Shijima asks.

Y/n shakes her head slightly.

"Of course not." Hanako answers. "We'll leave when it's complete. Your ability is useful for keeping Yashiro safe. We're only using it." He looked back off into the sky. "More importantly, can't you finish it sooner? The daydream, I mean."
