"Oh, Tamaki, now you're taking the joke too far," a guest with a snobbish tone to her voice spoke up. She set down her teacup, "Your palate won't be able to stomach that crap, you don't have to drink it just because he brought it."

Amei crossed her arms, muttering under her breath as she walked to a table with everyone else who was interested, "My palate can't stomach her bratty attitude."

"Be polite, Miss Hinode," the boy with glasses–Kyoya, Haruhi had learned after—didn't bother to stifle his amusement.

The rude guest turned and smiled at Haruhi, "I'm sorry. I was talking to myself."

"Haruhi!" Tamaki called.

"I'm comin'."

Amei offered her assistance to make it go faster.

She put the instructed amount of coffee in each cup while Haruhi swiftly poured water into each.

Haruhi offered a tray of steaming cups of instant coffee, "Here."

Amei made her own and tried it for herself, "Hm, not bad at all."

"Let the tasting begin!" Tamaki dramatically announced.

"I'm a little scared to drink this stuff," one guest looked at the cup with apprehension.

"I'm afraid if I drink this my father will yell at me," another voiced her concerns.

"What if I let you drink it from my mouth?" Tamaki began to flirt, tilting her back for her leg to stick high in the air.

"Well, then I would drink it."

The other guests squealed with hearts in their eyes.

Amei simply continued to drink from her cup as she watched them draw this out.

"This is ridiculous," Haruhi blankly stared at them.

Her new friend nodded, before offering her a box, "Pocky?"

"Sure," Haruhi took a stick.

"Please take as many as you'd like, I've got 20 boxes. Well, 18, now."

Haruhi took two more, "Thanks."

"Is that boy really a third-year student?" Haruhi observed Mitsukuni Haninozuka, or Honey, a nickname he possessed.

"Mhm. He's older than me by six months," Amei confirmed.

"Honey-senpai may seem young and childish, but he's a prodigy," Kyoya approached them, "And then Mori-senpai's allure is his strong and silent disposition."

"That's a good balance."

"Uh..." Haruhi sweatdropped.

"Haru-chan! Mei-chan!" Honey leaped for them. Amei dodged the attack, but Haruhi didn't, making her swing around in disbalance.

"I think he might be trying too hard," Amei sweatdropped.

He held each of their hands as he looked at the younger students in excitement, "Hey, Haru-chan, Mei-chan, do you want to go have some cake with me?"

"Thanks, but I don't really like cake," Haruhi politely declined, head spinning.

"I like cake, but I don't want to leave Fujioka to do things himself." Amei gave a polite grin, before turning to her taller friend,"I didn't know you didn't like cake, I'll have to make you a dessert you're sure to like one day!"
