"Mei-chan! You're on your break?"

Amei turned to face the Lolita's table she'd just passed, "Yes, I was going to go over a few ideas for pastries in two weeks."

Honey tilted his head, "Two weeks?"

She gives a friendly wink, "I always plan ahead."

"That's smart, isn't it Mori?" he turned to his taller cousin next to him.

"Yes."

Honey gave her a welcoming smile, "We're on our break too, you should sit with us!"

"I wouldn't want to bother you, you both deal with enough girls all day."

"We don't mind. We like your company," he assured. "Usa-chan, too."

Amei giggled, "Oh, and Usa-chan? I'm honored."

"And I can help you pick."

"Ah, so that's what this is about. I should've known," Amei adjusted her Kimono to sit across from them.

Honey leaned over the table to peek at the folded paper she pulled from her pink kimono sleeve, "What's on the list?"

"Cherries, strawberries, and chocolate. I've been working on combinations with those flavors." Amei took a pen from her updo that looked like a hair stick, "I'll ask Kyoya where he's at on a theme being planned, so I can make something themed, too."

"I like all the strawberry ones!"

"I'm sure you do."

"What's this one say?" he pointed to a fully French name.

"Un éclat de rouge cerise–Which means, 'A burst of cherry red.' It's a cherry cake with chocolate that I've been working on."

Honey's eyes sparkled, "Your French is very pretty, Mei-chan! Your pronunciation sounds natural."

"Well, aside from my father being French, I was born there. That's my mother language. I actually didn't move to Japan until the end of middle school."

"Whoa! Really?"

They conversed for a few more minutes, Amei making sure to include Mori, yet respecting his quietness.

"Hey, Mei-chan? Do you have a favorite tea?"

"Hm? My favorite is...Gyokuro."

Honey had missed her hesitation.

"Oh, that's fancy!" he giggled.

"When I was young, it was the only type my Mother brought," she chuckled as she stood. "I should get back to work."

"See ya'!" Honey waved.

Mori simply nodded.

"Later, boys!"

"Looks like tears are popular with the ladies today," Haruhi muttered.

Amei stopped next to her, "I'll say...Peppermint?"

"Thanks," Haruhi popped the candy into her mouth.

"They've been in tears all day," Amei noted.

"But how are they able to cry so easily?" the first year wondered.

Haruhi bumped into Kaoru, knocking a green bottle out of his sleeve.

The girls were unimpressed.

"That's cheap," Amei pouted.
