"Fiancee? Oh, I suppose that makes sense. They did seem a lot more emotional than a simpler relationship," Amei tapped at her chin.

Tamaki crossed his arms, "Kyoya, how long have you known about this?"

"About the two of them being engaged? Well, as you know I conduct general searches on all of our customers. The two of them were childhood friends. It seems that their engagement was arranged by their parents. I didn't think the information would benefit us so I disregarded it."

"I see."

Kyoya opened the binder he held, "Toru Suzushima: Outstanding grades, fair social status. He's ordinary-looking but reliable. If I had to fault him for anything—"

Hikaru cut him off, "He doesn't have much presence."

Kaoru continued, "And he's faint-hearted."

"So in other words, he's boring," Kyoya finished, closing the binder.

"So brutal..." Ameii sweatdropped.

Honey spoke from Mori's shoulders, "Suzushima is a good boy. Right?"

"Yeah," Mori simply replied.

"All right, everyone. We'll have to work on our strategy."

"Which one?" all the hosts asked.

"Men, it is our responsibility as members of the elite Ouran Host Club to make every girl happy!"

"Oh no," Amei pinched the bridge of her nose.

On the night of the dance, cherry blossoms bloomed and the night was crisp.

"It is so good to see you here tonight, my little lambs. The Ouran Host Club would like to bid you—"

A spotlight flicked on, aimed perfectly at Tamaki as he made a graceful bow, "–Welcome."

As violins played, the chandeliers were brought to life, lighting up the room.

The girls clapped while other hosts lifted from their bows.

Kyoya decided to inform them, "As always, ladies, the Host Club Members are here for your entertainment. So, we invite you to the dance to your heart's content. Based on her dancing skills, one lucky young lady will be chosen as tonight's queen. The queen's reward will be a passionate kiss on the cheek from our King."

"Well, good luck to you, my darlings," Tamaki gave a flirty look.

The girls squealed, and some even fainted.

Where was Amei?

Running, because she was late for the second time in her life, she had overslept during her nap.

She almost tripped over her gray dress, as she hurried to the building, she smoothly snuck in without a hitch.

Soon the dance was in full swing.

Amei cautiously looked around, trying to avoid the hosts long enough to seem like she was already there.

"You're late."

"Gah!" she sharply turned to Kyoya who was behind her.

"Were you trying to avoid the dance?"

She persistently shook her head, "No, I just overslept—"

"In the afternoon?"

"I don't...sleep a lot."

"Understandable...But now that you're here, you can do your mission."
