Its been 4 days since the kiss.Daryl and I haven't spoken since then. Rick has been disappearing daily.

I'm worried about them. They are the only people that really matter to me anymore. Well the rest of the group is important, but they're at the top of my list.

I have a feeling Daryl is avoiding me. Every time I walk into our cell, he is either sleeping or taking watch outside.

Why would he be avoiding me?

I was sitting down in the dining area of our cell block feeding the baby from a bottle. They still don't have a name for her yet. Rick and Carl haven't spoke much since Lori died.

I got up and walked over to Carl, who was sitting alone eating a bowl of noodles that Beth and Maggie cooked up.

"Hey bud." I said.

"Hey." Carl said glumly.

I put the baby in his arms.

"Do you have a name yet?" I asked.

"I was thinking Sophia. After Carols daughter." He sighed. "But then there's Andrea, Amy, Jacui...... Lori. I don't know."

He paused before speaking again.

"Daryl's been calling her Little Ass Kicker." Carl smirked slightly.

"Oh really?" I grinned. "Have you seen him anywhere?"

"Last time I saw him he was in the guard tower." He replied.

"Thanks." I said as I ruffled his hair. "Watch out for your sister."

"I will." Carl said.

I left the cell block and walked into the field. I looked up at the guard tower and saw Daryl taking watch.

I snuck up the guard tower without being seen. I wrapped my arms around Daryl's waist. He cringed.

"Did you miss me?" I asked playfully.

He turned around and smirked at me. I let my hands drop from his waist and instead put them around his neck.

"Are you avoiding me?" I asked seriously.

"Kind of.... I... I don't know what to say about that night..." Daryl stuttered.

He was cute when he was nervous.

"I mean.... I'm not used to this sort of thing...." He said.

I pulled him closer and kissed him.

His hand tangled in my hair, making me tingle inside.

"Amelia!" I heard Rick yell.

I pulled away from Daryl and , blushing like crazy, turned to Rick who was standing in the middle if the field bursting with laughter.

"That little fucker!" I said to Daryl.

"Can I talk to you?!" He yelled, grinning.

"Alright! I'll be right down!" I yelled back.

I looked at Daryl, who was standing there uncomfortably.

I grinned at him.

"Don't worry I'll be back." I winked at him. I pecked him on the lips and skipped down the guard tower stairs.

I ran to meet Rick in the field.

He playfully nudged me.

"So you and Daryl huh?" His eyebrows moved up and down.

I could feel my cheeks redden.

"Shut up!" I yelled as I pushed him.

We both burst into laughter.

Just like old times.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" I asked switching subjects.

"I just wanted to thank you for what you did for my family while I was uh..... sorting things out." He rubbed the back of his neck.

"No problem." I replied. "You'd do the same for me." I smiled.

"Yeah. I think Carl sort of looks up to you. Like, you're his role model or something." Rick grinned.

I burst into laughter. "Me? A role model? Ha! That's crazy!"

"Ah, but you should see the way he looks at you! He talked to me earlier about how you talked to him about the baby's name." He said.

"So, what are you going to name her?" I asked.

"Well, Carl and I are going to talk about that tonight after I take watch. Speaking of, I need to release Daryl of his position. Go eat. Beth and Maggie made some soup."

"Alright." I said. I hugged him and walked back to the prison.

When I walked in I saw everyone talking and enjoying themselves.

"Amelia. Want some soup?" Beth asked.

"I'd love some." I replied as she fixed me a bowl.

I walked over and sat next to Carl, who was sitting at a table with Maggie, Glenn, Hershel and Beth coming to join us.

Carl seemed to be enjoying himself for the first time since Lori died.

"Hey everybody." I said.

"Hey Amelia. How are you?" Hershel asked.

"Great. If you don't mind me asking, how did you lose your leg?" I asked curiously.

"Oh no. I don't mind. I was looking for Glenn and Maggie, and I was walking passed a walker I believed to be dead. It grabbed my leg and bit it. Rick chopped my leg off with his axe so I could stay alive." Hershel finished.

"He was out cold for 2 whole days." Maggie spoke up.

"Really? That's amazing. Most people wouldn't survive that." I replied.

"We were beginning to think he was dying." Glenn said.

"But he didn't. It was a miracle." Carl said.

"Yeah. I spent a couple of hours cutting Daddy's pants so he wouldn't have to drag them on the ground." Beth added with a weak smile.

"Lucky we have such a loving group here." I smiled.

Rick and Daryl entered the room, looking frustrated.

Daryl glanced at me and stormed off to our cell, while Rick grabs himself some soup and walks to his cell.

What the hell happened now?
