Daryl's Point of View
--------------------------
I dozed off for about 5 minutes until I shook myself awake. I can't be falling asleep while this crazy son of a bitch is holding me captive, he'll probably stab me again. I look down at the cut in my thigh. It is still trickling blood. I feel a little light headed. I don't know how much blood I've lost.
I try to slip my hands free of the zip tie, but it's no use. They're too tight. I sighed in frustration as I looked around the room. I took the time to read some of the things written on the walls.
Duane turned.
Sick from blood cover.
No soul left.
Damn. This guy's fucked up.

Rick's Point of View
----------------------------------
I recognize my surroundings and I can tell Carl and Amelia do to. This is the road before the neighborhood where Carl grew up with Lori and I. I glance down at Carl, he looks close to tears. I look over at Amelia and she shoots me a nervous glance, while Merle just keeps walking.
We continue walking until I see writing on the pavement. "Hold up." I say, surprised that Merle actually stopped and came back towards me.
"What is it?" Amelia asked.
"There's writing on the ground. See?" I pointed to the words written in chalk.
"It says 'Go back.'" Carl says softly. I glance up at him. He doesn't look at me, just stares at the two words.
I look down the road and see random items lined up in the street. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.
"What's up Rick?" Amelia asked putting a hand in my shoulder. It felt like electricity ran through my body as she touched me. I smiled to myself. Snapping out of my daze, I pointed at the random objects. "There are just random things lining the street..."
"Why do you think they're there?" Carl asked.
"Ain't it obvious?" Merle asked. He spit onto the pavement. "It's keepin' them geeks out."
"Why not just build a wall?" I asked Merle. Why did I think he would know the answer?
"Probably didn't have the stuff to build one." Merle answered, shrugging his shoulders. I nodded slowly.
We continued walking closer to the objects until we heard a voice.
"Stop right there." I heard a man say. I looked around and saw a man with a black helmet on, standing on the roof of a building with his gun pointed at us. "Weapons on the ground. Now."
I nodded towards everyone and raised my hands to put my gun down on the ground.
Of course Merle had to screw everything up. "Hell naw." He scoffed. "Come and take it from me!" He raised his gun and started shooting at the man. The man hid behind a big electrical box.
"MERLE!" I heard Amelia scream. I saw her tackle him to the ground to make him stop shooting. I looked around for the man on the roof but he was nowhere to be seen. He must've gone back inside the building.
"GUYS!" I yelled, getting their attention. I looked around again.
Oh shit.
"WHERE'S CARL?!" I screamed frantically. I couldn't lose him too!
I went silent when a gunshot rang throughout the street.
