Noir POV
The sun rises on a bright day. I gently sit up taking in the sun's beautiful rays. I smile when something loud erupts echoing all over the room. It scares me so bad I leap and attach to the ceiling.
Gertrude: "Well whaddaya know, cats really do stick to the ceiling."
I look to see Gertrude had bashed a gong.
Noir: "Not funny!"
Lucas: "I beg to differ. I think it was pretty hilarious."
Tria: "Agreed."
I narrow my eyes and aim my hand. A blob of web ejects covering Tria's eyes.
Tria: "Seriously!?! Why me!?!"
Noir: "Because I get a feeling it was your idea."
Lucas/Gertrude: "Guilty."
Tria: "Traitors!"
I laugh dropping down. Once Tria uncovers her face we all get dressed and head to our first class. We take our seat with me being between Tria and Lucas.
Harbor: "Good evening students. My name is professor Harbor."
Someone raise their hand.
Woman: "Where's professor Port?"
Harbor: "He decided to enjoy retirement. Therefore I, his eldest son, shall be taking his place. I'd also like to introduce my assistance."
A growl is heard. We all turn and see an Alpha Beowolf walk into view.
Harbor: "This is Lupus. Say hi."
It waves. Tria leans to me.
Tria: "I heard Grimm became friendly. But not to this degree."
Noir: "No kidding."
Harbor: "Now I know what you're thinking, how is it a Grimm came to be so docile? Well as some of you may be aware about ten years ago scientists found a way to alter a Grimm's behavior. This process was soon widespread and now humans and Grimm work hand in hand."
Lucas: "But weren't we sworn enemies?"
Harbor: "Yes. But it's as they say, times change. And sometimes it's for the better."
He clears his throat.
Harbor: "Now. Since we're in the midst of transitioning semesters, feel free to talk."
We all break into groups. I lean to my friends.
Tria: "So, since we're not gonna do anything you guys wanna see a movie after class?"
Lucas: "Sure."
Gertrude: "I could go for a movie."
Noir: "Sorry, I got other plans."
Tria: "Crime?"
Noir: "You know it."
Lucas: "You ever thought about taking a break? I mean you've been superheroing ever since Beacon started."
Noir: "I don't see a reason to. Besides, I'm kinda on a roll."
Gertrude: "Just how many villains have you beat so far?"
Noir: "Enough to have a rogue's gallery."
The bell rings meaning classes are over for the day. I head to my dorm and throw on my costume. As I pull up my mask the others enter the room.
Lucas: "You heading out already?"
Noir: "Yep."
Tria: "What're you gonna stop today?"
I look at my scroll.
Noir: "Well, there's an attempted break in at Donny's Jewelry. So I might do that."
Tria: "Just be safe okay?"
I throw on my hood.
Noir: "I will."
I leap out the window freefalling into Vale. When it comes into view I grab a flagpole twirling around it. Around the fifth twirl I let go slingshotting myself across uptown. As I enter midtown I stick to a water tower giving me a good view of the jewelry store.
Noir: "Alright, where are you?"
An alarm blares as glass is heard shattering. I narrow my eyes seeing a man with dark red hair running away with a large bag over his shoulder.
Noir: "They never learn."
I leap landing on a lamppost. From there I attach a strand of web to the man's back. I pull yanking the man onto his back.
Noir: "Come on Louie, I thought we agreed you were going legit."
He gets to his feet.
Louie: "Sorry hero. But the clean life wasn't paying enough."
Noir: "A shame."
I jump onto the street.
Noir: "No matter. It's back to jail with you."
He shows a smile.
Louie: "I'm gonna have to decline."
I tilt my head when out of nowhere he becomes invisible.
Noir: "Neat trick."
Louie: "You like it? I just learned it."
