Bio Life Break In

Noir POV

About a week after my encounter with Charlie I hop aboard a bullhead.

Tria: "Cutting it pretty close huh?"

Noir: "Sorry. Had trouble hearing the alarm."

Lucas: "Are you okay?"

Noir: "Why you askin?"

Gertrude: "It's just that ever since you came back from that fight the night of the party you've been... off."

Noir: "How so?"

Tria: "For one you wobble whenever you walk. We also have to yell to get your attention."

Lucas: "We're worried."

I sigh.

Noir: "Sorry guys. I just got hit kinda hard."

They lean closer in interest.

Noir: "He had this ability that amplified his finger snap. When it hit me it sounded like a nuke went off in my ears."

Lucas: "Was there a big blast?"

Noir: "How'd you know?"

Lucas: "The pistol shrimp can snap its pincers with enough force to mimic a sonic boom."

Gertrude: "And you know this how?"

Lucas: "I watched the animal channel all last summer."

Tria: "You think he had that ability?"

Noir: "Possibly."

I think internally.

Noir: "Could he possibly be in the same boat as Louie? If so then that makes two people with no born Faunus abilities."

Teacher: "We're here."

The bullhead lands letting us out. Looking around I see we're at a museum.

Teacher: "Single file line everyone."

Lucas: "Why're we here again professor Aloe?"

Aloe: "As your history teacher it's my job to teach you all aspects of history. Which is why I'm taking you the great Vale Museum of Forgotten History. It's here you'll learn what I can't teach in school."

We enter the museum when my scroll goes off. Looking a see a crime alert.

Tria: "What is it?"

Noir: "A break in at Bio Life."

Lucas: "Shall we enact operation ramble?"

Noir: "Yeah."

Gertrude: "Miss Aloe, what is it you'd say is your favorite part of history?"

Aloe: "Oh gosh where to begin? I guess I'd have to say-"

She goes off on a long rant.

Tria: "Go Noir."

I run out of the museum and leap high into the air. While I am I change into my costume. Landing on top of a water tower I springboard towards the Bio Life building. After a couple minutes I sneak in through the vent and crawl towards the robbers. I reach the experiment area where I see quiet a few robbers rigging hooks to various equipment.

Noir: "What on earth would robbers need for machines like these?"

Man: "We got company!"

I drop down as gunfire nearly hits me. 

Man: "Don't just stand there, get her!!!"

I limbo as one robber delivers a right hook. I grab their wrist and toss them into the wall. A gun clicks making me leap to the ceiling. With a swing I slam my feet into the chest of the robber slamming them into the ground. 

Man2: "Got you."

He slams his gun onto me. I attach web strands to his feet and swing him around. He's slammed into several of the robbers. I let him go sending him crashing into a computer monitor.

Man: "This is ground squad, we've hit a snag! Get out of here!"

I look as the rope connected to a machine goes tight. It's violently dragged across the floor then out the window. Shattering the glass I see a helicopter making off with the machine.

Noir: "Oh no you don't!"

I leap out the window and reach for the machine. My hand just barely manages to stick to the machine. I look down as the ground rapidly moves.

Noir: "Gotta find a way to ground this thing."

I look forward to see a billboard coming in hot.

Noir: "Uh oh!"

I pull myself into a ball hiding behind the machine. It crashes into the billboard leaving nothing left.

Noir: "That was close."

I look up and put both hands on the machine. Then with all my might I fling myself upwards towards the helicopter. Landing on the side I poke my head inside.

Noir: "You are to cease all criminal actions."

Pilot: "Get lose bug."
