Surprise Visit

Noir POV

I lean to Lucky.

Noir: "How's it interesting?"

He points to the screen.

Lucky: "Well the DNA samples show him to completely human."

Noir: "Then his disappearing trick was a semblance he hasn't used."

Lucky: "Not likely. It shows he's among the five percent born without one."

Noir: "Then how was he able to completely vanish?"

He taps the keyboard some more. Lucky's ears twitch.

Lucky: "Woah."

Noir: "What?"

Lucky: "I don't know how it's possible, but his disappearing ability shows it's from a chameleon."

Noir: "But he's human. So how is it he has a Faunus ability?"

Lucky: "I'm just as stumped as you are."

He places his hand on his chin.

Lucky: "I can probably run some more tests to try and figure it out. But it'll take some time."

Noir: "Take as much time as you need."

I kiss his cheek making him turn beet red.

Noir: "Thanks Lucky."

Lucky: "N-n-n-no p-p-problem!!!"

I giggle.

Noir: "Still as shy as ever."

I walk out of his lab heading back to the others. But along the way I bump into someone getting knocked onto my butt.

Voice: "Sorry about that. You okay?"

Noir: "Yeah. I just wasn't-"

My head perks up. That voice, it sounds familiar. I look and become surprised.

Noir: "Dad!?!?"

Y/N: "Hey kid."

I shoot to my feet hugging him tightly.

Noir: "I'm so glad to see you."

He returns my hug chuckling. I let go.

Noir: "So what're you doing here?"

Y/N: "Just came to see how you were doing."

Voice: "He ain't the only one."

I look behind him and become even more surprised.

Noir: "Mom?"

Blake: "Yep."

Noir: "Well this' certainly a surprise."

I get an idea.

Noir: "Hey how would you guys like to meet my teammates?"

Blake/Y/N: "We'd love to."

Noir: "Follow me."

I walk leading them to my dorm. I open the door to see Tria holding Lucas in a headlock while Gertrude shouts.

Gertrude: "Come on Lucas, don't let her punk you like that!"

Tria: "Apologize!!!"

Lucas: "Never snow princess!!!"

Y/N: "Is it always like this?"

Noir: "Mostly. Other times it's worse. Way worse."

I whistle loudly.

Noir: "Break it up, we have visitors!!!!"

They all look ceasing their rough housing. They then stand in a neat line.

Noir: "Mom dad, these're my teammates. Lucas, Gertrude and Tria our leader."

Gertrude: "Hiya."

Lucas: "Hello."

Tria: "Greetings."

She lifts the sides of her skirt and bows.

Noir: "Guys, these're my parents. Y/N and Blake."

Blake: "Lovely to meet you three."

Y/N: "Sup."

Gertrude: "So your parents are real."

She's punched in the shoulder by Lucas.

Lucas: "Forgive her. She speaks without thinking."

Noir: "Please, have a seat."

We all take a seat.

Gertrude: "So, what is it you guys do?"

Blake: "I work part time at a soup kitchen."

My teammates look at dad.

Y/N: "I stay at home."

Gertrude: "Why?"

Y/N: "Reasons."

Lucas: "Did you know our parents?"

Blake: "Oh yeah. We actually all attended Beacon together."

Tria: "What was everyone like back then?"

Blake: "Well your mom was kinda stuck up. But that was due to her family upbringing."

Y/N: "We all called her ice queen because of her cold treatment to others."

We laugh.

Lucas: "What about our parents?"

Y/N: "Jaune was a bumbling dork. And your mom loved him for it."

Blake: "Nora was all over the place. But Ren was always there to reel her in."

Noir: "What about you guys?"

Blake: "We were a like anyone else."

Y/N: "Two love birds too shy to confess our love."

Lucas: "Who made the first move?"

Blake: "That'd be me."

We continue to talk finding out all kinds of secrets about our parents' time here at Beacon. Near the end of the day I escort my parents out the dorm.

Noir: "So why're you guys really here?"

They share a smile. Dad then hands me a small card.

Y/N: "Meet us at this location tomorrow at noon."

I take the card looking at the address written on it.

Noir: "What's so special about it?"

Blake: "Drop by and find out."
