Y/N POV
He leans closer.
Ian: "I notice the life you've built. A nice home, beautiful wife, good kid."
Y/N: "You leave them out of this."
Ian: "I loved you Y/N. Loved you like a son."
I slam my fist onto the metal table denting it.
Y/N: "You despised me!!"
I get angry as he remains stoic.
Y/N: "From the time I can remember you would constantly put me through constant abuse. Some times I nearly died. You never cared about me. You only cared about molding me into the perfect specimen."
Ian: "I did it all out of love. I wanted you to be the best you."
Y/N: "I find that really hard to believe."
Ian: "It's true my son. I-"
Y/N: "I'm not your son. The only son I am is Ozpin and Glynda's."
Ian: "Don't you understand Y/N?"
He points to me.
Ian: "I gave you life. I spent my entire life finding a way to bring you into existence. Without me you wouldn't be here. Be the man you are. In a way, without me, you wouldn't have all that you have now. Your powers, your strength... your family."
I grab the front of his clothes yanking him to me.
Y/N: "You wanted to talk. We did. Now unless there's something important to say I suggest you say it already. Because the moment I walk out that door, is the day you finally leave my life. Forever."
He only smiles remaining silent. A vein pops out of my head but I let go walking out of the interrogation room. I slam the door seeing mom.
Glynda: "Feel better?"
Y/N: "I don't know. I really wanted to just punch him in his face."
Glynda: "There's still time."
The door opens as Ian is escorted out of the room. As he walks away he makes a break for me. I go for a punch but he catches my fist leaning to my ear.
Ian: "I'd advise you to cherish every moment you have left with these people. Because soon everything you care about will be reduced to ash."
Cop: "Let him go!!!"
He lets go facing his escorters. He then raises his hands.
Ian: "Sorry. Just needed a private last talk."
They escort him away without further problems. He looks over his shoulder at me. He smiles looking elsewhere. I follow it landing on my hand. He smiles again looking back forward. I then open my hand to see a piece of folded up paper.
Glynda: "What's that?"
Y/N: "I don't know. He must've slipped it when he had me."
I undo the piece of paper to see an address.
Y/N: "You recognize this address?"
I show it to her. Her eyebrows raise.
Y/N: "I take it that's a yes."
Glynda: "Look it up on the GPS."
She walks closer grabbing my shoulders.
Glynda: "When you get there. Be prepared."
She then hugs me.
Glynda: "I love you Y/N. More than you could ever know. Know that when you get back I'll be waiting at home."
I return her hug.
Y/N: "I love you too mom."
Getting out of the police station I input the address. When the place is pulled up I begin the route.
Y/N: "So it begins."
I hitch a ride on an airship. A half hour later we arrive at the destination. I open the side door revealing a snow covered meadow.
Y/N: "I'll be back as soon as I can."
Pilot: "Okay. Just don't stay too late. The last place you wanna be at night is the wilderness of Mistral."
