Going home

Nicole's POV:

After a sleepless night of worry and self doubt I came to the conclusion, no matter how many times I try to not think of cameron. He's always gonna be in the back of my mind. Although we some what made up I still feared he would hit me again. What he said to me made me even more hurt inside every time I thought about it. I knew the Brandon and I situation wasn't going to work out, but I couldn't tell him. If anyone found out cameron and I talked. They'd be pissed.

I heard a knock on the door pulling me out of my train of thought. I sat up in bed "yeah" I said.

Jared and Jacob walked in with Nixon behind them. "Very sad your leaving" jared said.

"Yeah Nicole. Can't you stay a little longer" Jacob asked.

I laughed "I wish buddy but I need to get home" I said smiling.

"Alright" he said. He started doing his cute thing 5 year old do with dogs.

"So are you excited" jared asked.

"Yeah. I miss LA" I said. I played with the loose string on the comforter.

"Brandon is making me check up on his pent house for the week he's gonna be gone" jared laughed.

"Oo daddy can I come" jacob asked. We both looked at him. He was laying on top of Nixon.

"Yeah dude" jared said.

"Woo hoo. I get to hang out with daddy" he yelled. He ran out of the guest room and up and down the hall ways and stairs. I laughed.

"He really looks up to you jared" I said.

"I know. I'm trying not to let him down. He means so much to me and if I let him down, he may look at me differently and that would kill me inside. I try so hard" he sighed. His voice got shaky. I moved and gave him a hug. He laid his head on my shoulder.

"Your not gonna let him down. Your his father jared. And your amazing at it. He said he wants to grow up and be just like you. Not Heather or Jason or Brandon or cameron. But you. and only you. Your the biggest most important thing to him. And that may sound like its a lot of pressure but your gonna do fine with it. You have done fine with it. I mean you got him into soccer and he dresses nice and he's a good kid. Very smart. You've raised an amazing child so far and your gonna continue to do that as long as you keep doing what your doing" I said. I was sitting next to him still.

"Thanks Nicole. Well you should probably get ready. You have to leave in 2 hours" jared said.

"Ok" I laughed. I stood up and watched him leave. He ran over to jacob and picked him up. I got into the shower.

I leaned against the wall as the hit water ran down my body.

Cameron's POV:

"NASH" I yelled down the hall way. "Give it back" I laughed.

"I'm telling her that you don't want anything to do with her" he said.

"No don't" I said. I finally caught up to him and tackled him onto the ground. I saw he was in the middle of the message but didn't send it. I deleted it and ran the other way.

"Dude why do you want to keep Rachel around. What if she does something" he asked.

"She's not gonna" I said.

"Cam you don't know that" he said. We got into the room. I sat on the bed out of breath.

"Yes I do Nash. I've known her longer than you have" I said.

"Just watch out for Nicole then. Don't let her get hurt again" he said.

I rolled my eyes.
