I've never liked flowers most especially their smell.
Actually, plants in general.
I only like them in photos and paintings but not in real life. I like how beautifully still and peaceful they are on a canvas. I like how I know they're not going to wilt and then die.
I don't like the idea of them being majestic today then withered later on. It's like a basic representation of how I am going to be in the future: breathing today, barely keeping still the next.
This is why I write. I write anything and everything from the simplest matter to the most complex ideas running around my head. This is why I write so I can preserve my train of thoughts. This is why I write so when the time comes and I can barely lift a finger, I have these stills and placid memories to leave behind, not as something for the world to remember but something tangible for everyone to see and read and keep.
I've never liked flowers, most especially their smell.
