She opened her eyes when she felt warmth hitting her face, she glanced towards where the light was coming from and realized the window was open. She yawned and raised her hand to brush it over her mouth when her knuckles hit another body. Tiana's eyebrows rose in confusion as she looked to the right to see another body, she let out a slight gasp as her memories from last night came around.

The kisses that Betty placed down her body, the touches that made her feel like the only person on the planet. Tiana was thinking about trying to make her escape when Betty started to move, her fingers twitched as she moved her hand towards Tiana who thought about sliding off the bed but she figured if she did that then she couldn't be around Betty again. "Good morning." Betty's eyes fluttered open once her fingertips touched Tiana's leg.

"Hello." Tiana was flustered and laid almost mechanically against the bed on her back, beside her Betty let out a chuckle before adjusting so she was on her side facing Tiana with her hands under her face, Tiana lay frozen, feeling Betty's eyes bore into her. She let out a short breath before she slowly turned so she was facing Betty, she opened her mouth to say that what happened last night was a mistake, that it was a one-time thing, to say anything but the words never came and she shut her mouth. "How are you feeling?" Betty asks gently when she realized Tiana wasn't going to speak.

Tiana smacked her lips together a few times trying to get the words to come to her. "Alright, I think. I felt shame when I realized what happened when I woke up but then I realized that I don't feel guilty. I feel happy and I also feel confused because how can what we did feel so good yet people around me were saying it was wrong? I don't understand." Betty repositioned so that instead of laying on her side she was sitting next to Tiana's legs and started to rub them carefully, her other hand took Tiana's gently and she started to rub her knuckles. "To be honest, I don't understand either. I have a friend who likes both men and women but he isn't like you. He doesn't have all these expectations that you do."

Tiana didn't know what to say to that so she shrugged in agreement, the two of them lapsed in comfortable silence before Betty started to make moves to get up, Tiana raised an eyebrow as she watched Betty scooch to the edge of the bed. "I'm going to get us some morning tea, or would you prefer coffee?" Betty questions as she stands up and starts looking around the room for her clothes from last night. "Just tea is fine," Tiana replied turning so she could watch as Betty walked out the door after she blew a kiss to Tiana who rolled her eyes playfully.

She flopped onto her back and looked at the ceiling, Tiana turned her head to face the window. She could still feel the heat from the sun beating down, she was pleased to see that the snow had started to melt and it was starting to turn into spring. Tiana didn't know how she was laying there before she started to grow antsy, she let out a huff and stood up. Walking over to her door she pulled it open, she froze as she watched Betty come out of her office and gently close the door behind her before stuffing a paper into her pocket. Betty smoothed out her dress before she walked towards the kitchen, presumably to get the tea.

Perpulexed Tiana shut the door behind her, she tried to play it off in her head as a paper that Betty lost from the night before but she remembered they weren't in the office yesterday so Betty would have no reason to be in there, no less take a paper. That's when it all came crashing against Tiana, she stumbled until she reached the couch and sat on her trying to gather strength. She felt so stupid, Tiana was warned about hiring someone from off the streets but the signs that Tiana has been noticing lately were far too much for her to ignore.

She had to do something, she had to figure out who Betty was working for. Tiana quickly got up and opened a box that held all of the trinkets her Father had given her over the years, she quickly found what she was looking for and ran her fingers over the design, it was a fake kruge. Tiana only had one but she could grab a few other kruge coins to mix it in, if Betty was the real thing nothing would be said, and if not Tiana would have to deal with it.

Her breath skipped when the door behind her started to open, she turned around and plastered a faux smile on her face. "Thank you for the tea, I hope it's okay but I've decided to let you off for the day since you stayed over last night." Tiana was proud of herself for coming up with the excuse as quickly as she did, Betty raised her eyebrow as she placed the tray of tea on the table next to the bed. "Alright, that's fine. I'll see you tomorrow?" Betty asked licking her lips, Tiana's eyes flickered toward them but she quickly looked up to meet Betty's eyes. "Yes, and here is your Kruge for the day." Betty held her hand out and Tiana dropped the kruge in her palm, she watched as the fake kruge disappeared into the real ones.
