Chapter 74

*Faith's POV*

I couldn't believe it. I can't believe that he actually texted me. And for the longest time we haven't talked, he finally texts me.

I haven't talked to Daniel since Freshman year. And that's awhile ago. When I was a Freshman, Daniel was a Senior and we kind of had a thing. His friends called him Dan but I called him Pink Cheeks because he blushed a lot.

I couldn't believe that I still had his contact in my contacts. But what I was wondering the most was, why is he texting me now?

"Faith, what is wrong?" Taylor asked sternly. I looked at him from my phone. He was being serious. His I'm a man so I'm gonna act like I'm tough. Grr. I'm the Alpha. Who dares intrude? type of mode. "I'm being serious."

I snapped at him. "I know you are. But so am I. It's nothing. Just an old friend that I haven't talked to in awhile."

Felicity cocked her head to the side. "Who would that be?"

"Do you remember Dan Peterson?" I nervously asked her. Her eyes popped out of her head.

"No way!"

I nodded.

"Shut up!"

I shook my head, pressing my lips together.

"Oh my fucking, God. Are you serious? You guys haven't talked since like, what,

freshman year?" Felicity freaked out. She shipped Dan and I like FedEx back then, but things didn't, and couldn't, work out. Back then.

"Yeah, I'm being fucking serious," I laughed. "Yeah, I can't believe I still have his contact. It's still saved as Pink Cheeks."

Felicity giggled and I giggled along. Matthew and Taylor looked clueless, but they noticed that I had noticed and tried to play it cool by shrugging it off as if it didn't just happen. They're girls, they're probably thinking. Let them be girls.

"No offense in anyway to jeopardize Taith, but I still ship you and Dan. Like, oh my, God! I'm fangirling majorly in the inside."

"I believe it." I chuckled. I sat back and looked at Taylor who was staring at the table mournishly. I snuggled into Taylor and hugged him. He hated it when I did this when he was mad, because he couldn't fight the urge to smile and hug me back.

But he didn't do anything. "Taylor, Dan and I are just friends, just in case your mind is wandering to insane ideas."

It was officially awkward at our table. And thanks to Matthew, it was even more awkward.

"Well, let's go, Felicity! I'm hungry." And both Felicity and Matthew scurried out of the booth. Taylor took his arm off of me, which left my shoulders cold.

"Knock it off." I mumbled.

He turned his attention to me with a glare. "How about you knock it off."

"What the hell did I do?" I whispered shouted at him. Taylor ran his hands down his face and placed his elbows on the table. "Taylor, you're just jealous.

He scoffed with a pity laugh. "Yeah, of what?"

"Tay, I know you too well. I know what you're thinking," I said assuringly, and began to mock what I had thought he was thinking about in a fake mans voice.

"Oh gosh, now that this guy is talking to my girlfriend, she just might leave me and never love me again. Taking her hoe ass back to that loser, to let me suffer and cry. Wow, stupid bitch. Great, now I'm jealous and making myself mad which I'm gonna take out on my innocent girlfriend who may or may not have feelings for said guy that is texting her."

"How the hell can you read me like an open book?" He chuckled in question.

I shrugged. "Remember Taylor, I was a fangirl. I obsessed and stalked you on the internet before we met officially." He laughed with a grin. It warmed my heart as he wrapped his arm back around my shoulders, pulling me and hugging me closer and tighter.

"I know, I know. I over think too much. As long as you say that this Dan guy isn't going to interfere in our relationship, then everything will be okay."

I nodded in agreement. "Couldn't have said any better myself." He looked into my eyes and then flickered down to my lips, and back up into my eyes. He leaned down I leaned up, connecting our lips softly. We kissed for a few seconds, moving our lips with a perfect motion of synchronization, before we finally disconnected. I brushed my nose against his softly and had given myself a heart attack once I had noticed that Matthew and Felicity have returned from getting food.

"You guys make up fast." Matthew said with a mouthful of, mac and cheese? Or is that corn? Not even going to take this mindset conversation into consideration.

But I cocked my head side to side, as if I was agreeing and disagreeing with Matthew's statement. Taylor chuckled with a smile when I looked up at him.

Trying to change the subject ever so desperately, I sighed.

"So what do you guys want to do now that touring is over?"

"We should totally hang out more, that's all I have to say." Matthew chuckled.

Taylor nodded. "Yeah, and no more leaving." He hugged my shoulders tighter with his arm, and I couldn't help but giggle a little.

Felicity started talking about having the boys move in with us back in Florida. But there really was no more rooms, so what she really was implying was that the boys could sleep with us. Boyfriend and girlfriend and all.

"Sounds great," I smiled. "It would be nice, you know? Just. . . the three of us." Everyone in our booth mumbled in agreement as we rambled on and on about the fun things we could all do together.

Then my phone vibrated. Picking it up, I had seen that Dan had sent me a text.

Watch your back. Please be careful... things aren't exactly how they should be rn.. I will explain later.. Get out of the restaurant.. NOW
