Chapter 69

*Felicity's POV*

After Faith did a backflip off the stage and then both Jacks crowd surfed, I was about to pee myself from laughter. I went backstage and was escorted to the ladies room for two reasons: I had no idea where the restrooms were, and two, security said we might run into fans along the way.

Once I was fully drained, I walked myself back towards the screaming area of fans and loud music.

It was crazy on how far Faith and I have come in life; we started out on vine just for fun, not expecting to get so much attention. To be honest, it's all because of Faith. She's the one who got us all of the attention with her crazy outbursts and reckless actions, I just happened to get it on camera. If anyone in this group was famous, it was Faith.

I walked over to the snack table before going back out to stage for a music number with my best friend. I reached across the white table for the little plastic bag of paper cups, then filled it with iced water from the clear pitcher. I placed the water back where it was and took a sip from my cup before I was startled by a high pitched laugh.

I turned around and saw Matthew practically crying in laughter. Once he settled down, he finally realized who was in front of him.

"Oh, hey, Felicity. Whatcha doin' back here?" He asked with a big grin.

"Oh, you know. Just chillin' back here before I have to perform." I explained as I nodded and then pressed my lips together. He grinned at me and took a few steps towards the table and grabbed himself a cup for some water. His smile was perfection, glorious, and beautiful. I was dying inside; basically fangirling. I wished he knew about how much I cared for him, how I deeply, truly, loved him; and how I would give anything in the world to be with him. But in his eyes, we're just friends, and I'll never be more than than that, just like a fan.

He leaned up against the table with his right arm, and held his paper cup with his left hand. It was silent for awhile before Magcons original lipgloss song came on. Plus, you could see everyone dancing on stage through the curtain. I giggled because I saw a couple of people waltzing on the stage; talk about those "wrong music with the wrong video" vines.

"So, Felicity," Matthew nudged my left arm with his elbow. He sat his cup down on the table and fully faced me while licking his lips. Oh my goodness, Matthew Espinosa! Stop, you're going to kill me! My heart started to race and pound like a drum, my inner-fangirl was trying to escape. But I couldn't let that happen; I was the one on stage with Matthew. I was no longer the unnoticed girl in the crowd.

He continued, "I was just wondering if you would like to go out sometime." He sounded nervous. Why was he nervous? If anybody should be nervous, it should be me. I was practically sweating through my Cameron Dallas hoodie.

"Uh, yeah. Of course, I would love to go out with you."

He smiled at me, his eyes lit up with excitement. Just like a kid who got what he wanted for christmas. "Awesome. I'll be at your hotel door around five-ish. The convention is almost over."

"Great! I'll see you then. Well, actually we still have to see each other once we get back to the hotel. I mean, um, I'm just gonna--"

"Shut up? No," He laughed. "You're adorable when you're weird. You should be yourself more often, Felicity. Don't let anyone judge you, or control you to be a different person."

He grabbed my hands with his and looked into my eyes. If I could explain how excited I was right now, I would. But I can't because it's so indescribable. It felt like I wanted to throw up, but scream out in excitement at the same time. I wanted to jump and slap something but I couldn't let myself out of control.

I breathed out with a grin, "Okay." And he kissed my cheek before he dropped my hands, and downed the rest of his water. I was stuck in this position as he walked off towards and onto the stage. I caught myself once I started to fall over. I covered my face with my hands and screamed in the inside. I stomped my feet to the ground repeatedly, then took deep breaths once I had pulled my hands away from my hot rosy cheeked face. It was happening, it was finally happening. My dreams were coming true: I'm going on a date with Matthew Espinosa. I smiled to myself and picked up my cup from the table to take another sip. Out of no where, a hand was wrapped around my mouth and I had dropped my drink. I screamed and kicked my legs as an arm wrapped around my waist, and I was carried off.

*Faith's POV*

After that message Kaylee gave me yesterday, I totally feared for my life and everyone else's lives. What oi something happened to Tristan while he was visiting his big brother? What if something happened to one of my friends, especially Felicity? It came to mind that, if he was going to hurt anybody first, it would either be Taylor or Felicity. But if he wanted me to suffer, he would hurt everyone else first and leave the ones I cared most for last. If I was out to get Kaylee, I would do that, just saying.

I put on a fake smile once Taylor came up to me and wrapped his arm around my waist. The lipgloss song came on and I couldn't help but grin and giggle. He locked his fingers with mine and we both shuffled around the stage. Waltzing, I guess you could call it. But it was also that moment where it was the wrong dance to the wrong music. I laughed as we moved around the stage as if we were at a ball, while others stomped their feet on the stage and rolled their chests.

This was my dream come true, my fairy tale, and happy ending. But, however, my stepmother, aka my dad, was soon about to ruin everything by locking me up and taking my future away from me. I've been Cinderella all my life, slaving away, getting no where in life; but then Vine came a long and changed both mine and Felicity's life for the better.

Matthew then jumped out from backstage and started twerking to the music. Cameron laughed his head off, and didn't take long before he joined him. I dropped Taylor's hands as we watched. I looked up at him and he looked up at me.

"Don't you dare--" But he did it anyways, joined the twerking team. I grabbed a microphone from Mahogany's DJ set and started listing off their names after saying "Go".

"Go Matthew! Go Taylor! Go Cameron! Go Shawn!" and so on. When the song finally cut and all the fans in the audience cheered at the top of their lungs, I finally said into the microphone, "Give it up for the squad, the twerking squad!"

Claps and screams echoed in the room before Jack Johnson announced that Felicity and I were about to perform a cover, and then our new single that will come out eventually. To be honest, I didn't feel like performing; just wasn't in the mood.

"Where's Felicity?" Shawn asked.

"I was just talking to her backstage." Matthew announced.

"Taylor, do you know where she is?" I asked my boyfriend. He shook his head no, that's when everyone started running around looking for Felicity. Suddenly, a gunshot went off and the fans screamed. Surprisingly, it was quieter than their usual screams for the guys I instantly hit the stage and Taylor ran over to me, laying beside me.

"Where are you, Faith? It's time to come home!" A man announced. It wasn't hard to miss or to not recognize that voice. It was dad, and he was back for vengeance.
