Chapter 61
*Faiths POV*
My eyes shot open as my head hit something hard. I scurried to get up and look around. I was in the waiting room of the hospital.
"Faith are you okay?" I looked at Taylor and his eyebrows were scrunched. He stood up and stepped towards me.
"Oh my god Taylor you're okay!" I wrapped my arms around his neck tightly and pulled him so close out body's were touching.
"Um yeah I'm okay. Are you alright?" he laughed a bit.
"I had the worst dream ever." I let go of him and looked down at the floor.
"You rolled out of my lap and face planted on the floor. It must have been bad, huh?" I nodded.
"What's up with her?" I heard a voice ask. I turned around and it was Nancy, along with Felicity and Chad.
"Felicity!" I screamed. I ran and jumped at her. I wrapped my arms around her neck and my legs around his waist and we both fell to the floor.
"Faith what the hell? Are you alright?"
"Oh my god! It was just a dream and you're okay! You're not dead! I'm sorry about all the fights we had and everything I don't want to loose you. You're my sister." I finally let go of her and helped her up.
"Um okay haha. Bad dream?"
I nodded. "Yeah."
Someone tapped my shoulder. "Faith Evans?"
I turned around and a nurse in a blue hospital uniform with her brunette hair in a bun, was standing there, staring at me with her brown eyes and a smile.
"Yes?" I asked.
"Your fathers surgery is a success. He may go home in a couple of days."
"Okay." When she walked off I had a sigh of relief. "Nobody's dead."
"What did you dream about, anyways?" Taylor asked me.
Oh dear.
************************************
"You sure you want to go home?" Felicity asked.
"I have to. I have to take care of Dad for a couple of days." I half smiled. I walked up to Taylor's car dragging my luggage behind me.
"Well, I'm gonna be at my folks place for a couple days. Just give me a call if anything happens. Okay?"
I thought about it for a second. Would my dad actually want to hurt me? You know, while in the condition he is? He no longer has a job--so I've heard-- so he really can't go anywhere. He can't drive anywhere. I had no idea what point I was trying to prove, and I had no idea what I was getting myself into.
"Yeah totally. I'll call you. See you in a couple days."
I put my stuff in the back seat, and sat down in the passenger seat. Felicity closed the door and waved to me. "Bye Bubby."
"Bye Bubby. I love you."
She smiled and turned around to walk over to her parents car. Taylor put the key in the ignition and the corvette roared to life. He pulled out of the parking space, and out of the hospital parking lot, driving me home.
I knew I was the one that was going to have to clean up every disgusting thing in that house. I wouldn't be surprised if there were rats and mice living in the walls and ceiling. Gross.
Taylor soon pulled up in front of the white banged up old trailer. I stared at it as all of the painful memories flooded in my mind. Every thought of suicide and running away reran through my head, and made my eyes tear up. But I blinked then away before Taylor could even notice.
I felt a warm hand grasp mine that was resting in my lap. I looked up at Taylor as he held my hand and half smiled at me.
"What?" I asked.
"I was just wondering if we're even dating anymore? We're on and off, and on and off. I really like you, Faith. I just wonder if we can just... give it another try, and stay together? Please?"
Did he think I didn't love him anymore? I certainly hope not. I'll always love Taylor. Not because of his fame or his money. But because of the person he is. Kind, sweet, funny, and most of all, fun. He's young and reckless and always knows how to have a great time. I love Taylor Caniff. Forever and Always.
"Of course."
