Chapter 72

*Faith's POV*

I feel lost. Like something inside of me is missing. I know I have everything I need to make me feel like there isn't anything missing, but I just feel that way. I feel like there is nothing left for me to live for.

Taylor and Felicity are standing in front of me right now, yapping their mouths, trying to explain that everybody will take part to try to keep me safe. Everything has been about me. Funny because it never has been until I stumbled into a ball room. Shit, I sound like Cinderella. Someone bring me my glass slipper. STAT!

But anyways, I hated being the center of attention. It's that poor "out of the ghetto" girl who had this happy-go-lucky trick who happened to get Taylor Caniff, all over again. No one saw this innocent girl getting abused, who happened to be at the right place at the right time.

"Faith!" Felicity flicked my right cheek. I held my cheek with my palm.

"Ow! Bitch!" I flicked her back, but on her forehead, and harder.

"Ow!"

Taylor rolled his eyes as he wrapped his arms around my neck and swayed me side to side slowly. He explained everything once more and I actually listened to the brilliant plan the boys had hooked up.

"Faith, Felicity, you're going with Mahogany tonight for a girls night. No exceptions, this has to work, nothing goes wrong." Taylor took his arms off of me, leaving only one around my shoulders and holding me tight.

"And you are going to be there with the p--"

"Sh!" Taylor cut me off. "They could be listening."

"My dad can't manage to get out of bed to make his own cereal, I think he would never manage to be a damn super spy." Taylor laughed at that one. I love how I can make people laugh but it sucks to see people you love be happy, while you're drowning in the inside with a fake smile on your face. That's what I did, I smiled. And I hugged my boyfriend who I never wanted to let go of.

Mahogany, Felicity, and myself went to the nearest mall to go shopping. We planned to have a good time and that's what I intended to do. Even if it killed me. I didn't know if the boys' plan was even going to work, but they insisted that we just go with it. But try to have fun without thinking about it too much. Yeah, okay. Says the teenager that dropped out of school to go to Florida with his friends.

Felicity squeaked so loudly once she had seen Rue 21. My ears rang, I tell you. We all went inside and looked around. A pink and black tribal pattern sundress caught my eye. A thin black belt around the waist summed it up perfectly. I had to get it.

"Damn, that would look cute on you." Mahogany said as she took it off the rack and held it up to my body. "And your black vans go perfect with it, too." She had totally swept me off my feet with her compliment.

I shook my head with a grin. "I am so buying this."

"How much money do you have?" Felicity asked me as she flicked through a rack of shirts before you could say, zayum bae. I opened my wallet and counted my money.

"Um, about five hundred. Not counting the other five hundred that Taylor gave me before we came here."

Both of the girls looked at me and I shrugged as I walked over to the perfume table a couple of feet away.
