Chapter 48
*Taylors POV*
I woke up early and packed my things into my suitcase and picked my plane ticket to go back to Indiana. I can't deal with this anymore, it's too painful.
I know you're probably thinking Wow you're lame! Why are doing that? You're such a dick! Well I don't care, I'm going back home to my moms and settling from all of this. I left a note for the guys for when they get back. I called a cab and paid the driver when we arrived at the airport. I walked in and they just started letting people board. I went through security and got my luggage back and boarded my flight.*Faiths POV*
I woke up on the couch and Felicity was sitting in the chair on her phone, crying. "What's wrong?" I asked.
She wipped her face with the sleeves of her purple Aeropostale sweatshirt and looked at me. "Jarod and I broke up."
"Wait, why?" I sat up and swung my legs over the edge of the couch to sit normally.
"He said the distance was too much for him and it would be best if we just went our seperate ways."
"Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry, Felicity." I got up and sat next to her and rubbed her back.
"It's okay, I really don't care. We've broken up many times before so I really don't care anymore. It was just very unexpected. That's all."
"Okay. Well now that that is out of the way. We have bigger things we need to discuss."
"Like?" She asked positioning herself towards me.
"Do we really want this record deal?" I asked. I pressed my lips together as she looked at me like I was crazy. Well I am but this was serious.
"Of course we do! Our dreams are finally come true! We're gonna how it up just like that because another opportunity is laying in our path?"
I nodded. "Yup."
"Good cause I agree." She stood up and walked into the kitchen. I plastered a 'what the fuck' look on my face and got up and laughed. The look disappeared and I followed Felicity. "So what are we gonna do?"
"Well. We accept the tour option that the guys gave us and denie Jozees offer."
"Should we go back home?" I asked.
"Why? So your dad can beat you until your dead this time?"
I shook my head 'no' fast like.
"We're not going back to Indiana. Unless it's to visit or something." Felicity said. She got into the fridge and pulled out the carton of eggs, gallon of milk, and a package of bacon. She stood on her tippy toes and got the bread off the top of the fridge.
"I'll help." I smiled. I got a frying pan and cooking spray. I turned the stove on and placed the pan ontop of the flames. Once the pan was heated I sprayed the cooking spray onto the pan and cracked two eggs in the pan. Felicity cooked the bacon on a seperate pan next to me. Felicity left the snapping and sizzling bacon to cool for awhile, while she made some toast.
We finishd making breakfast and settled down at the island to eat. I got us two glasses of milk when we were done and we just talked about what we wante to do with our lives.
"How about this? We accept the record deal, while we're on tour with MagCon, we record some songs. When we return we hand in our record and make some adjustments if needed." I suggested.
"I love the idea!" Felicity said before taking a bite of a left over piece of bacon.
"Okay I'll call Jozee and set up a meeting with her and see what we can do." I picked up my phone and it started ringing and vibrating in my hand. Creepy.
No Caller ID.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Faith, it's Cameron." The deep voice said.
"How the hell did you get my new number?" I thought to myself quickly and slowly looked up at Felicity nervously waving. "Felicity." Cameron said.
"I kinda figured a few seconds ago." I laughed.
"Yeah uh anyways, we came back to the hotel last night and fell asleep and Taylor was here but Taylor was gone this morning. He just left a note saying he was going back home to Indiana and he wasn't going to finish the tour with us." My heart broke at Cameron's words.
"Why did he go back? Did he say?"
"He said he was stressed and heartbroken so he just didn't want to finish."
"That's not like Taylor. He must be feeling really bad."
"Yeah."
"Well thanks for calling and letting me know. Oh! and uh, Cameron?"
"Yeah, Faith?"
"Don't give my number out to the guys."
"No promises."
"Cam!" but he already hung up. I saved his number into my contacts under Cam and then called Jozee. I put my cracked phone on speaker and Jozee answered.
"Hey Jozee it's Faith Evans and Felicity Richards."
"Hey!" Felicity said.
"Hi, girls! Glad you called! Did you think about the record deal?" Jozee asked.
"Yeah we talked about it and we called to set up a meeting today. Is that alright?" I asked.
"Sounds great. How about 12:30 sharp?"
"Sounds great to me. We'll see you there."
"Bye girls!"
"Bye!" Felicity and I said in sync. I hung up and gave Felicity a high five.
I got dressed into denim short shorts and put on a pink rattlesnake pattern tank top. I put on my black Vans and white bandana and walked out of the walk in closet to Felicity waiting for me. She was wearing skinny jeans and my black Tshirt that said 'If You Think I'm Crazy You Should See Me With My Best Friend'. I put my phone in m pocket and pulled my hair up into a ponytail, and put the sunglasses on. We called a cab and it picked us up and brought us to Orlando Records. Felicity paid the driver and we got out and was escorted, by the lady at the front desk, up to Jozees office.
"Now, lets talk buisness." She smiled.
