Chapter 60
*Faiths POV*
Taylor dropped Felicity off at her parents house and then drove me to the hospital.
"Are you Faith Evans?" A man in a large white coat and stethoscope around his neck asked.
"Yes I am." I answered clearing my throat.
"Wonderful. Sign these and we'll put your father into surgery immediately." He handed me a clipboard with a packet clipped to it and pen. I skimmed it real quick before skipping to the very last page where I sign my name.
I scribbled my signature down and handed the board and pen back to the doctor.
"Lovely. Your father should survive now." He smiled before turning on his heels, and walked away.
I sat down in a chair in the waiting room and Taylor sat next to me. He grasped my hand and then kissed it.
"How come you didn't tell me that that happened to you, Faith?" He asked.
I shrugged. "I just didn't want to get hurt even more. Didn't want him hurting you or Felicity."
"It's okay, Faith. After this surgery, I bet he'll be a better man."
I looked up at him in his eyes. "I hope you're right." He kissed my forehead and I smiled. He patted his lap, wanting me to sit on his lap I guess.
I sat in his lap and he hugged me, holding me close. He cradled me and I soon fell asleep.
I opened my eyes and a red light lit the room. I was sitting in the waiting room all alone and I was no longer in Taylor's lap like how I was.
I walked to the front desk and nobody was there. I looked over the desk and there was a lady on the floor, blood spilling and oozing from her stomach. I gasped and covered my mouth to keeps self from screaming.
I walked around and there were dead doctors going up the hallway.
"I warned you!" A voice screamed and echoed. I turned around and looked in every direction but the voice only filled the air.
The two doors to the waiting room slammed shut. I ran up to them and started pushing and pounding on the doors.
"No! Help! Let me out!" I yelled. I turned around pressing my back against the doors and looked around. I ran up the hallway, jumping over all of the dead bodies. I turned left down into another hallway and ran into something. I backed up a bit and looked up and saw Felicity dangling by a rope by her neck. I screamed my head off! I covered my mouth and baked up until I got to the wall. I slid down the wall and sat on the floor crying.
"Somebody help me." I cried out. I looked up at my dead best friend and put my arm out, trying to reach for her. "Felicity!"
"I told you!" I heard the voice boom in a whisper. It echoed through the hallways. I stood up and went around Felicity and ran up the hallway and turned right down the other. I smashed through the emergency door to the emergency stairs. It was pitch black until the emergency alarm went off and red lights started flashing.
I ran down the stairs As the alarm blared and lights flashed, I finally made it back down to the lobby.
Military men were dashing around, towards hallways and into rooms.
"Help! Someone!" I screamed but they ignored me, like I wasn't there.
"Down here! Some others are down here!" I heard someone shout. I went towards the direction everyone was rushing into
I followed them into a hallway I never thought about going down, there were patients scattered everywhere, and so nurses. I tripped and fell, and landed in a persons lap. I rubbed my forehead and opened my eyes, realizing I was in Taylor's lap. He was dead.
