Chapter 39

*Taylors POV*

I've been trying to get ahold of Faith but she won't answer. Felicity told me she was fine but for some reason I didn't believe her. I called Cameron, asking what I should do.
"Hello?" Cam asked answering the phone in a tired voice.
"Hey Cam it's Taylor! What's up?" I asked shaking my leg being nervous.
"Well I was sleeping."
"Sorry dude. I forgot about the three hour time difference between Indiana and California."
"It's alright, man. What do you want?"
"Well," I started. "Faith isn't answering my texts or calls. She wasn't in school yesterday and Felicity said she was just sick and she's fine but I don't believe her. What do I do?"
"Maybe she's just busy. Giver her some space."
"No, Cam. You don't understand. She's always complaining about having problems with her father and she always comes to school with a new bruise. Do you think we dads beating her and he did something worse?"
"Well, to be honest, I'm very confused and I don't know what to think. Just wait for her to text you or something."
I groaned. "I don't know. I feel like something's up. And something's wrong and just fucked up."
"Yeah it's called your head. I'll talk to you later, Tay."
"Alright, bye Cam."
I hung up and layed back down. School was cancelled because lighting struck a tree and fell on the school and went through the gymnasium and boys locker room. I had gym class today too. It was running like crazy outside.
Faith. Where are you? Are you okay?
Where ever you are, be safe.

*Faiths POV*

The plane took off and it started raining like crazy! I looked out the window and a cloud flashed and thunder rumbled the plane. I flinched and Felicity clinged ontop arm.
"First time on a plane?" The lady next to Felicity asked.
I nodded. "Yeah."
"Well only when I was like a baby." Felicity slowly let go of me.
The lady nodded and returned to her magazine. Felicity gripped the arm rest of her seat when the plane shook again. "Faith, I want to get off this plane."
"Come on it's just a little thun-" I was cut off by the plane shaking and the lights flickering. The lights went out and I looked out the window and the plane started going down.
"Passengers please buckle your seatbelts and remain calm. Our pilots are handling it the best they can!" The flight attendant yelled through the phone. Red emergency lights started flashing to the beat of an alarm.
"Faith!" Felicity screamed holding onto my arm tightly. I held onto her with a death grip and looked out the window. I could see that we were getting closer to the ground. I could see lights and tons of land and trees, atleast ten thousand feet in the air. That may not sound so bad but it's scary as hell.
We got closer and closer and closer and fell farther and farther. "Remain calm! Remain calm!" The flight attendant yelled as she climbed up the isle to the back of the plane.
"Taylor!!!"
