MY WOLF
Taehyung was running chest burning from exhilaration unlikely of his inhuman form, but he hadn't feed from a human in Weeks and inevitably he was feeling weaker than any other vampire.
Taehyung was previously in history class, like any other day dozing off to the monotonous voice of his over aged professor who also happens to be his 400 year old uncle. His voice rang in and out of his ears in slow waves, eyes becoming heavier. This was absolutely unnecessary and unneeded, Taehyung rivaled even his uncle on the history of their town. Studied it for 223 years and lived through it longer.
He was about to slip into sweet slumber eyes finally closing before they shot open, the unmistakable feeling of pure anger ripping through him and his nose flares. But it's not his anger that he's feeling, it's his girlfriends and immediately Taehyung pushes out of his seat. The feeling only grows worse as he rushes out of the classroom head immediately whipping around.
It's almost dizzying, blinding the way absolutely rage takes him over and it makes him scared because when Jennie gets mad....
It's hard to control herself.
Taehyung has never been more glad about jimin being able to link their emotions, a powerful warlock he is. Taehyung and Jennie being different species didn't allow them a connection like a same species relationship would provide. Jennie didn't like that at all, being it her alpha wolf nature she wanted be sure at all times Taehyung was safe, could make sure he was okay and Taehyung couldn't oppose because he wanted the same.
So here Taehyung was running pass featureless faces, the cold air doing nothing to affect his undead body. Kept going until he was in an alleyway. "Fuck, Jennie."
Taehyung doesn't waste anytime before rushing into the alleyway, and the smell of Jennies blood alarms him. Next thing he sees is Jennie stepping out from the shadow and his eyes widen.
She's covered...from head to toe in blood and she's vigorously shaking. Big eyes filled with water. The smell of irony blood is sickly strong and Taehyung desperately wants to indulge in it. Eyes flicking from Jennie to what would be two bodies laying limply on the ground. "Jen."
"Tae-"
"I told you to stay home!" Taehyung yells walking closer to Jennie. The closer he got he could see the striking ombré of green and gold dissipating from her eyes. Canines disappearing behind her trembling pink lips.
"Just leave me alone." She says under her breath looking away from Taehyung , she doesn't want to see him right now. "Why won't you just fucking listen to me?!"
" I can't!"
Taehyung grabs Jennie arm in a vice like grip and pulls her forward. Jennie tries to rip her arm away but despite it all Taehyung is stronger than her.
It's Full moon week and Jennies pheromones where acting up, she was meant to stay put in Taehyungs family home but then came her hunger and it was like everything went red. She was so hungry her gums ached, and the meat in the fridge couldn't satiate the overwhelming feeling to hunt, to kill.
"LET ME GO!" Jennie yells, using her alpha voice even though she knew Taehyung wouldn't be affected by it. Taehyung pushes her up against the wall in a blink of an eye and Jennie winces to the feeling of the brick digging in her back.
"Jennie, what the fuck are you thinking?! You know how fucked over this can get you?" Through all the thick layers of human blood Taehyung can pick out Jennies own quickly and he runs his eyes over her face. "You know better." He says in a softer tone. "You can't be out and about in this state."
Jennies brows furrow as she take in and let out staggered breaths, and she looks anywhere except in Taehyung eyes. "I-I told you, like every other time you don't have to deal with this." Her chest hurts so much, feels as if it's falling down on itself and all she can do is squeeze her eyes shut and try to swallow.
"And like I've said before I'll help you through anything, including this! I'm not being forced to help you jen, this is my choice because I love you."
Jennie shakes her head " you shouldn't have to do this." She can't help but look back at the limbs of bodies laying on the floor, people who could have been a father, a son, a husband. She took them away from someone. She hates this hates it so much, she looks down to her shoes " fuck I can't, I can't."
And immediately she breaks. Her staggered breaths become faster, her chest rising and falling out of rhythm tears spilling from her eyes, in big pools and she only wishes she he can drown in it, drown in her own despair, but before she can she's pulled back out hands cupping her face and she sees Taehyung. Taehyung who watches as the tears disappear against the deep crimson of blood on her cheeks. "I-it's hurts." She sobs. "I have to tae, I have to hunt."
"Okay..." he sighs. "Okay, it's okay c'mere."
Taehyung immediately wraps his girlfriend into a tight hug letting her bury her face in his neck and he closes his eyes when he feels her nose rub softly against him inhaling his scent. "Let me take you to the forest, I...I can't take all this blood." He mumbles darkly.
