PROM PT ONE A continuation of "winter bear & ladybug" (Go read the taennie chapter titled winter bear and ladybug before you read this) -their all grown up
"He's gonna ask Jennie."
Jennie scoffs and rolls her eyes, she runs her red coffin shape nails through her silky brown hair. "It's not a worry, who else would he ask."
"With that attitude he might find someone new."
Jennie's sharp eyes swiftly turns to her sister who sits comfortably on her bed, a lame comic in her hand. "If you know any better you would keep your mouth shut."
There's a laugh on the other side of the room and Jennie looks over at her best friend, leaning on the wall with her arms crossed over her chest, her bangs fall into her eyes as she looks back at Jennie. "Just admit that your scared your enemie with benefits, might not want to take you as his prom date."
Jennie's brow twitches at this, she'll admit the thought has crossed her mind...BUT... only has it ever crossed. Jennie isn't worried, look at her, if Taehyung was smart he would know better than to pass up the chance to go with her. "I have nothing to admit, Taehyung is a fool if he doesn't take me to prom." She brings her lip balm to her pouty lips, using her finger to tap the tint in. Her curled hair falls over her bare shoulders, her red tube top sinching her waist. "Come on Lisa, we're gonna be late."
When they enter their high school, they meet up with their other two friends Jisoo and Rosé. As they walk the halls together Jennie could feel all the eyes on them. It's something she hadn't gotten used to, and loved. She craved the attention that she drew. It really got her going, just like she knew she looked good she knew her friends did too. Jennie was a cause to be reckoned with immediately into entering highschool freshman year. She knew no different than the popularity she garnered from her personality and looks.
They stop at Jennie's locker so she can sort through her things, "soooooo there is only a week left till prom Jennie." Jisoo says.
Jennie sighs and leans her head against her Locker, "I knowww." She groans.
"She's just saying, Jennie." Rose shrugs, "you don't want to look lame if you don't have a date for prom. Your placing all your expectations on Taehyung. You still need to look for your dress."
"Because im sure, he's gonna ask me. And im always right...and im gonna get what I want. Don't think you guys are better than me cause you've already got dates." She side eyes them playfully.
The three girls out their hands up in defense and laugh. Just as Jennie fully lock her locker and turns around she sees a guy standing there. Not just any guy, it's bang Chan his whisky blonde hair parted in the middle and away from his face. He subsequently apart of Taehyungs football team. Jennie raises a brow at him an unimpressed look on her face, Jennie is no stranger to bang Chan. In fact shes far from a stranger, they had a little fling junior year. Nothing serious, at least not to Jennie because she's always had her eyes on one person and one person alone.
