A/N: I'm sure you can guess the butler in the center is Mark, but which twin is which?

This wasn't so bad. I looked at the outside of the shop. It looked old and it was in a relatively empty part of town. I wouldn't have to worry about people questioning my comings and goings, besides Lord Phantomhive.

"Adrian!"

I turned around only to be hugged tightly. I recognized the voice and (H/C) hair immediately.

"What are you doing here, love?" I asked, stroking her hair. It was so soft and shone in the sun.

"Lord Phantomhive brought me. He wanted me to see where you'd be working," (Y/N) said, smiling.

"Oh," I said, glancing up at Lord Phantomhive and his butler Mark through my bangs. They were watching me and Mark was grinning slightly. I'm sure he was happy to see me in a vulnerable state.

"Well, I'm happy to see you again so early in the morning," I said. I noticed (Y/N) give me a strange look at the sudden change in my voice. I held up a finger to my lips and she nodded and giggled slightly. I was lucky I had fallen in love with someone so playful. I offered her my arm and she hooked her arm with mine and leaned on my shoulder.

"How about the grand tour?" I asked, grinning.

"Of course," Lord Phantomhive said, taking out a set of keys and opening the door, then tossing the keys to me, which I caught easily. I noticed Lord Phantomhive had taken mental note of my reflexes. I allowed myself an inner groan, but kept up my smile as I walked inside with my love. The first thing I noticed was how empty and dusty the room was. There were empty shelves, a bare counter, and I kicked up dirt everywhere on the floor. I decided to be particularly annoying and kicked up some dirt in the direction of the Phantomhive butler.

"My, my, you they don't take very good care of these old buildings, do they?" I asked, laughing after, "It's a wonder they can sell places like these."

"I suppose you're right," Mark said and then sneezed.

"Well, you're free to explore the building of course and decorate however you like, within reason," Lord Phantomhive.

I put on a thoughtful face and ran to one shelf, "Well, I suppose a skull collection would look wonderful right here. And perhaps a skeletal model in that corner. Oh! I couldn't forget to put a sign out front that says, 'Abandon all hope ye who enter here.'"

(Y/N), to my pleasure, started laughing hard and leaned on the counter holding her stomach. Also to my pleasure, Lord Phantomhive was shaking his head and Mark looked concerned.

"Well, come now. I thought you wanted someone who wasn't afraid of death."

"But you seem to welcome it, madman," Mark said.

"Who's really mad? The madman, or the one who hired the madman?"

"Careful what you imply," Mark growled.

"What kind of nobleman would he be if he couldn't take a little joke from someone in the working class?" I teased, grinning at the angry glint in Mark's eye.

"Relax, Mark. He's just trying to get under your skin," Lord Phantomhive said.

"No. I'd need a knife to do that," I said.

Mark was shooting daggers at me with his eyes as Lord Phantomhive said, "Well, if the place is to your liking, then I'll be leaving you to prepare. You open to the public in two days. You begin your work for me tonight."

"Of course, my Lord," I said, showing a bit of respect finally so that I wouldn't be seen as entirely ridiculous.

Lord Phantomhive nodded and left, followed by his butler, who kept grumbling something about why someone would give a madman weapons and corpses. I snickered softly.
