(Y/N)'s P.O.V.:
"Would you prefer peonies, daffodils, or gaillardia?" Adrien asked, tapping his pencil on the rim of his glasses. We began wedding preparations two months ago, working slowly to prepare so I wouldn't become overwhelmed. We planned to have the wedding in the spring at the church. I had speculated on an outdoor wedding, but looking out the window at the rain, I knew it wasn't a very good idea.
"You've become a flower expert after working on funeral bouquets," I giggled, leaning on his shoulder.
"What would you like?"
"Magnolias and primrose maybe."
Adrian nodded and wrote down my preference on the paper on his clipboard.
"I'm done wedding planning for today," I said, closing my eyes and wrapping my arms around his torso.
He chuckled softly and ran his fingers through my hair, "You've been awfully cuddly lately. Are you feeling alright?"
"Yes. I'm just enjoying every moment I have with you."
I glanced up to see him smiling. He leaned down and kissed my forehead, pulling me close to him. We sat in comfortable silence for a little while, but just as I was falling asleep, Adrian started shifting around. I tried to ignore his movement, but I eventually looked up at him.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"Hmm? Nothing, Dear," he said, his eyes darting around the room.
I laughed softly, "You're never going to find it."
"Where on earth do you hide it?" he asked, "I swear there's a secret opening in the walls somewhere."
I laughed softly and snuggled into Adrian.
"Are you sure you're alright? You look tired."
"I just haven't been sleeping well," I admitted.
"Do you need me to stay home tonight? I can ask for the night off."
"No, It's fine. Just, wake me up when you get back."
"Alright."
"I just want to cuddle for now," I said.
Adrian sighed and nodded, pulling me up onto his lap. I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck. He gently curled his fingers under my chin and lifted my head. He pressed his lips to mine and pulled me closer. I smiled into the kiss and started playing with his hair. Before I knew it, the kiss had become very passionate. Adrian's hands ran up and down my sides and I was tugging at his hair.
"You need a haircut," I said softly, pulling away from the kiss for a moment.
"No I don't," Adrian muttered, pressing his lips back to mine.
"I agree." I heard my father's voice and nearly fell off Adrian's lap. I would have if Adrian didn't have his arms around me. It was absolutely embarrassing being caught and I hid my face in Adrian's chest.
"Is something wrong?" Adrian asked innocently, running his fingers through my hair.
"Well, aside from seeing my daughter behaving in ways no father should ever have to witness," my father sighed, "I brought over another doctor."
"Father, you have to stop!" I cried, standing up, "You've brought over several doctors in the past three months looking for a miracle cure. I'm going to die no matter what. Stop reminding me!"
Adrian jumped to his feet and pulled me into a hug. I tried to wiggle away. i just wanted to go hide, but Adrian held me close.
"The last thing I'm going to let you do is be alone," he whispered, kissing my ear.
