"Huh? Really?" You asked in disbelief, completely shocked. The Tsaritsa merely nodded before bending down and placing you on your feet.
"Do not make me repeat myself." The Tsaritsa sighed, yet still kept her strictness.
You yelped, "Yes mother! I mean, ma'am!"
Scaramouche continued down the corridor. The day you went missing, he was supposed to report to her majesty and brief over the details regarding your training. However, since you went missing, the meeting was postponed.
He was ordered to stay after he returned with you, so all he could do right now was find something to ease his boredom. Scaramouche noticed something in the corner of his eye, and approached the guard that stood in front of the courtyard.
"You." Scaramouche eyed the guard menacingly, "What are you guarding?"
The guard stiffened, "I am acting on The Tsaritsa's orders to prevent anyone from entering the courtyard."
Scaramouche groaned, ignoring the guard before walking past him. Just as he was about to enter the courtyard, he was stopped.
"I cannot allow you to enter." The guard prevented him.
Scaramouche's eyes slowly looked towards the guard, "You have some nerve, stopping me." He pulled the guard, "Let me through, or do I need to remind you of your place as a lowly guard compared to my status as a Fatui Harbinger?"
"You have three seconds to move before I kill you."
The guard flinched, "Yessir!" The guard quickly moved out of his way, sweat dripping down their chin as fear struck their body. Scaramouche scoffed as he stepped down the stairs to the courtyard.
It was still dark outside, and there were no lights to illuminate the trees. Scaramouche conjured up a ball of electro energy. The brightness of it lit up the surrounding area, and he could easily shift it around to light up different parts of the area.
He left footprints on the snow wherever he stepped, searching the area as he explored.
This was the last place you were when you went missing, so he figured that there was something the guards missed during the investigation.
As he shone the light over the snow, he saw the violet glow bounce off of something. Making his way over to it, he realized it was a bucket. Next to it were a bunch of toys, presumably yours.
"Hm... Strange." Scaramouche muttered to himself, kneeling down onto the snow as he inspected the few toys.
Turning over the toys, he checked if there was anything suspicious under them. But to no luck, there was nothing.
