Steve's pov
It's been about 3 days since Eddie and Amelia
went to the cabin so me and Robin decided to
go and visit them
As we walk up to the front door Robin looks
at me "this place is giving me a bad vibe" I
shrug "oh well" we knock and Amelia opens
the door a few seconds later "hey guys" she
hugs us and lets us in
"Where's Eddie?" Robin asks "outside
smoking I think" I nod "how've you been?" I
ask and she sighs "Bored,scared,sad, worried. All the fun stuff" Amelia tells us "how's Eddie holding up?" I ask again "he's terrified, but he's not showing its because he feels like he needs to protect me and if he's 'weak' he can't" she frowns
"I hate that he's in this now" I notice her eyes start to get glossy and so does Robin
"Amelia it's gonna be ok I promise" Robin
says "that's what I was told last time then my
brother died" at this point she started crying
so we both went over and hugged her "I'm
scared" I look over and see Eddie walk in
from the back door and he looked concerned
as fuck
He walks over and hugs Amelia "what's wrong" but she doesn't respond

"We could stay the night if y'all want some
company" I smile "yes yes!" Amelia says with
excitement "tv?" Eddie asks and we all agree.
We sit on the couch and turn on the tv It's the news and it's talking about another 'murder' of some kid named Fred
"he works with Jenny and Nancy for the school
newspaper" Amelia says
"I need to talk with Jenny" she says "is there any way y'all can go get her?" She asks and I nod "I'll go, it's only 7pm so she's probably awake. What her address?"

Jenny's pov
I'm pretty shaken up by this whole thing and
now it's even worse. Chrissy and now Fred,
what the fuck is wrong with this damn town.
I'm getting ready for bed when I hear a knock
at my door
"who is at my door 8:50 at night?"
I groan as I walk to the front door. "Steve?"
He nods "Um Amelia said she needs you and
send me to come get you" I frown "is she ok?"
He shrugs
"She pretty upset but Eddie and Robin are trying their best to comfort her right now" but she specifically asked for you. I nod "yeah just let me put some shoes on" I quickly put them on and walk outside
"cute pajamas" He jokes and i turn a deep
shade of pink "Shut up" he shakes his head and keeps driving
"You've done this before right?" He looks at
me "like been through all this shit before" I
ask and he nods "manyyy times" "and you're
still alive?" He laughs a bit "surprisingly" I
look out the window, starting to fidget with
my hands
He grabs one of my hands and looks at me
core a second "it's gonna be ok" I smile a little
"We just gotta be strong right?" I nod "yeah
just gotta be strong" I repeat While looking at
our hands that are intertwined.
"Me and Robin are staying with Eddie and Amelia, if you wanna stay." I nod
"yeah I'll stay"
He puts his focus back on the road but then
decides to speak again "do you wanna talk
about what happened today?" I sigh"Yeah
Me,Nancy and Fred all decided to go to the
trailer park to see if we could get a good story for the newspaper. We somehow got let in
and we decided to talk to Wayne . Me and
Nancy went over to him and Fred stayed
back. Then next thing we know he's crumbled
in the middle of the road" he squeezes my
hand
"You're so strong, I'm so sorry all this is
happening" his words are calming and made
me feel safe
Soon we get to the cabin and I hurry inside,
seeing my best friend crying while her head is
in her boyfriends lap. He's playing with her
hair and trying to calm her and then her legs
were over robins lap.
"Jenny!" She cries and I immediately go over
"I'm here I'm here" she sits up and hugs me
tightly "you're ok! I was so fucking worried
something happened to you, I love you I'm
sorry I wasn't there for you"
I start to cry as I hear my distressed best friend ramble
"Hey it's ok, I'm ok and so are you" I pull
away and wipe her tears "I'm so scared" I
shake my head
"You're the strongest person I know, you've
done this before like a badass and you can do
it again. But now you have me and Eddie and we will protect you no matter what" she
smiles slightly
"so will we" Robin adds motioning her hands between her and Steve
"And everyone else princess you're gonna be
ok" Eddie says to her sweetly "I'm not worried about myself I'm worried about my frie- no my family" I smile "Don't. everyone is safe and ok" now I couldn't guarantee that forever but right now I'm just comforting her
"We're all gonna be ok I promise" Steve says
"And we all have each other" I say as she hugs
me again
"we love you darling" Eddie says as
he runs her back
"I love y'all too"

so0 I'm putting in more of Amelia's
PTSD and Fear of her loved ones
getting hurt. Also more Steve and
Jenny???? Ohhhh?!! But what about
