Neither Billy nor Max had returned home that night, at least the young girl had been mature enough to call her and explain her absence. Leaving Willow completely alone in the silent house until she heard Billy's loud engine arrive in the middle of the night.
Having fallen asleep on the couch Willow's eyes widen upon his entry, her eyes scanning his body covered in sweat and grim.
While she weirdly enough wouldn't have taken notice of the sweat, what drew her attention was the spray of blood on his hands.
"Billy? What's going on?-" he ignores her question only going to the freezer and hauling a bag of ice into the bathroom.
Willow stood at the door for a few minutes, simply listening to the sound of the water running before she gently knocked on the door.
"Billy? Are you ok? Did someone hurt you?"
It even sounded funny as she said it, Willow knew nobody could hurt Billy yet she didn't want to immediately paint him as the aggressor.
Willow stood by the door for a while until it seemed as though he would never come out. She didn't want him to freeze in there just because she was waiting outside so she decided it would be best to talk to him in the morning. So she gave up and decided to go to bed, trying to keep an ear out for the sound of his bedroom door yet sleep found her so soon she barely registered anything.
In the morning Billy had once more disappeared. Willow stood by the kitchen muttering under her breath as she grew more and more outraged at her annoying teenage brother until the sound of a key entering the front door caught her attention.
Max had finally arrived with a girl following behind her shyly called El, both of which had quickly disappeared into Billy's room also ignoring Willow's questions as to where they were. Watching them shut the door to Billy's bedroom Willow turns back to her pancakes, thinking nothing much of some curious teenage girls.
After eating Willow is still left with a hunger that couldn't be filled with staying her so she picks up her keys and throws a goodbye into the house before leaving, her mind too focused on a peculiar scoops ahoy employee.
Meanwhile back at the mall Dustin and Steve were engaging themselves with spy craft trying to find any signs of evil Russians. Nothing interesting had rung any alarms until Steve later spied Willow walking in through the entrance before being stopped by the meathead Mark Lewinsky.
"Steve if you're not going to focus, just gimme the binoculars-" Dustin complained trying to reach and grab them off the jealous boy.
"Dude, you are the worst spy in history, you know that?" He continued, finally managing to grab them off of him.
"I don't understand why you even like her that much, I mean sure she is pretty but I think you're forgetting the time her brother nearly beat you to death? I don't think the guy would be too happy to hear the two of you going out." Dustin exclaims before continuing.
"Besides I don't even get why you are jealous, she is always hanging around with you at scoops ahoy."
Steve huffs annoyed that Dustin, a child, is trying to give him love-life advice. "He didn't beat me I was just in bad form that day give me a break plus she could just really like ice cream..."
"Nobody likes ice cream that much Steve, she's definitely there because she has her eye on someone." Dustin turns towards Steve lifting his eyebrows suggestively.
Willow had managed to free herself from the pushy guy, explaining that her friend in the ice cream parlour desperately needed her help with a 'girl problem' instantly causing him to freeze so that she could make her getaway. This method had never failed her, as she starts her walk into Scoops.
On the way she spots Dustin and Steve huddled together behind a bush with binoculars loudly arguing, choosing to ignore it as another one of the group's weird quirks she continues. Spotting the beautiful girl working behind the counter she goes to interact with her.
