Chapter 6- The Flayed

The Elevator continued to fall at an insane speed, scaring its passengers halfway to death. Their screams bouncing off the tight space as they clutched onto each other for dear life.

"Shit, Shit, Shit!" Willow screams trying to hold Robin up since she couldn't stop falling over. Steve shouted from the other end of the room as Willow also tried to reach out towards Erica attempting to keep the people around her close to her and away from the door.

Willow did not want to die, especially not now, but if she were to go, maybe clutching those she had come to like over the past few days wouldn't be so bad.

She had just about managed to grab Erica's hand as the elevator reached its destination with an abrupt thud causing all of them to fall to the ground.

Robin landed right on top of the other girl, caging her underneath her tall frame, their hips connecting from the force. Squinted her eyes from her head hitting the floor Willow slowly opened them to reveal a wide-eyed Robin looking down at her before pushing herself up.

Willow rolled onto her stomach following the other girl and searching for the others while helping Erica up. Pain shot throughout her skull accompanied by a shrill ringing. She checked the back of her head to reveal a thick warm liquid coating the back of her skull.

Bringing her fingers back to her eyes they were met with the sight of blood before she instantly wiped it onto the inside of her shirt a gesture all too familiar for the youngest Hargrove.

They had bigger things to worry about than her minor injury.

"Is everyone ok?" She called out towards the others once Steve had managed to make it up from underneath a heavy box.

"Yeah, I'm great, now that I know that Russians can't design elevators!" He sarcastically remarked pushing Dustin aside to once again attempt pressing the buttons they had already deemed useless.

"I think we've clearly established that those buttons don't work. We need a keycard." Robin explains pointing towards the electronic lock.

"That means we are stuck in here," Willow states blankly staring up. "Shit!" she exclaims kicking a box and turning to slide down against a wall before curling up into a ball on the floor, her head resting in between her knees.

She drowns out the sound of the others arguing until she feels the soft feeling of a certain cold hand on her shoulder. Turning to look up she catches the gaze of Robin looking down at her with concern.

"Hey, I think you might have hit your head, it looks pretty bad..." Robin carefully tilts the girl's head down to be able to catch a better look at the wound underneath the girl's voluminous curls.

"It's fine, I've dealt with worse" She blurts out instantly regretting it when she sees Robin's shocked expression. "Don't worry just from Skateboarding..." Willow borrows Max's excuse since Robin wouldn't know that she would never step foot on a skateboard anyway.

The group eventually drifts off to sleep except for Robin and Steve, who continue to attempt to figure out an exit.

"I know this is a really stupid time to still have a crush on someone when we might die but I can't help but be fascinated by how she still manages to look so beautiful while sleeping?" Steve remarks glancing towards Willow who is sleeping against the wall with Erica asleep on her lap.

Both girls had immediately gravitated towards each other, Erica secretly needing the support from someone she had known before getting stuck inside this stupid elevator with a bunch of random teenagers and her brother's best friend although she would never admit it.

"Yeah, I guess she is..." Robin agrees turning her attention away from the girl instead turning to the boy next to her as he looks towards her crush. It is moments like this where Robin wishes she had been born different, crushes weren't supposed to hurt like this.
