'Dumbledor wants you to come to Hogwarts.' Severus told lula, it was only a week until term started and lula spent every waking moment with Severus. Every resting moment sleep in his bed and in his arms. She wasn finding a new normal, severus was showing it to her. she felt awful for leaving Lucius and Draco, Trixi and Theo but they all were stubborn as her and following Tom, this Voldemort man into the darkness.

'Last time he invited he to Hogwarts-' lula recalled '- he then thought it best if I was killed.'

'He wants you to have the defense against the dark arts position.' Severus told her. 'he has no ill intentions this time. I assure you. What do you think?'

'I want to say yes but I don't trust him.' Lula told severus.

'trust me then. Trust me to keep you safe.'

'I trust you.' Lula confirmed. So she was off to speak with dumbledor.

'Tallulah my dear, welcome back.' Albus said smiling down at her. she didn't speak, severus nudged her forward. 'Tallulah... I am sorry for what I caused. I truly thought I was saving us. I never saw the darkness in Tom Riddle.'

'He didn't have darkness until you tried to kill me.' lula told him.

'Severus told me that you are doing well, adjusting nicely.' Albus pushed on.

'I am.' She agreed.

'Would you like the job? For real this time. No tricks. No plans. I need a teacher. A great teacher and you were always wonderful Tallulah, everyone said so. All the professors.' Albus told her.

'I was wonderful?' she questioned.

'You were-' albus began.

'Yet you wanted me dead. You saw how wonderful I was, what the other students and professors thought about me and yet... you did something unforgiveable.' Lula remarked.

'and I will carry that burden to my grave. I saw darkness. I saw pain and agony and death beyond compare. I thought I was helping but severus has assured me time and time again that you are goodness. You are light. Will you shine your light onto the students?'
