Scene cuts to Sam and Colby in Isla's room
Sam sits on Isla's bed as Colby stands by the foot of the bed. Rem pod is placed next to Sam's foot. Now, Colby places the camera on the dresser facing Isla's bed
SAM: should we use the flashlight method as well?
COLBY: yeah, I think that'll help
Sam reaches into his backpack, grabbing a red and blue flashlight. Sam sits up to place the red flashlight on Isla's bed and then places the blue flashlight on the nightstand
SAM: if anyone's here, please make one of these flashlights turn on glances at Colby
Colby looks scared shitless. the red flashlight turns on
COLBY: holy shit
COLBY: is Isla with us right now? turn on the blue flashlight
the blue light flickers before turning on
SAM: okay, Isla's here. I knew she had to be here
the red flashlight turns off before turning on again.
COLBY: if there's another spirit here, turn both of these flashlights off
both flashlights turn off and the rem pod blares again
SAM: if the spirit that's next to the rem pod is Isla's lover, turn off one of these flashlights
Blue flashlight turns off
COLBY: holy fuck. isla and her lover are both here. But wait, remember when Hazel said she felt a war between good and evil? eye bulges with fear
SAM: yeah?
COLBY: these are two good spirits. what if there's another spirit here that's bad?
the rem pod stops blaring as the flashlights turn on. this indicates that Colby is right
SAM: you're right! let's see if they'll tell us
both flashlights turn off
Sam stands up from the bed, standing next to Colby
SAM: the red flashlight means no and the blue flashlight means yes. is there another spirit here other than Isla and her unnamed lover?
the blue flashlight turns on
COLBY: of course I was right
SAM: okay, is the third spirit a bad spirit?
the blue flashlight turns off
COLBY: that's not good
SAM: we should warn Nate and Hazel
