The camera cuts to another scene of Sam, Colby, Nate and Hazel in another room, that wasn't identified during the investigation
Colby is holding the camera this time, placing it on the dresser after Sam explains their next plan
SAM: Okay guys, so this next part of the investigation, we're using the Estes Method. To make long story short, someone goes under the headphones, listens to the radio channeling through different station and says what they hear. They're blindfolded and can't hear us
Sam turns to the group.
SAM: who wants to use it first?
Nate starts to touch his nose, Colby and Sam followed along. Hazel sighs with a small chuckle as she realizes she may have to go under.
HAZEL: Okay i'll do it
NATE: maybe we'll get clear answers this way
Nate turns to Hazel as she takes a seat in the chair that they've put in the middle of the rooms
NATE: are you ready?
Hazel nods and sits back in the chair.
NATE: is there a spirit here?
Colby takes a deep sigh as he places his hands on his hips.
HAZEL: yes
NATE: jesus christ. i wonder who it is
SAM: can you tell us your name?
SILENCE FILLED THE ROOM FOR A FEW MINS
COLBY: if there's a spirit here, can you make a noise or give us a sign?
A SOFT SHUFFLE WAS HEARD FROM BEHIND
HAZEL: possession
SAM: turns to Colby and Nate with fear holy shit
NATE: did a spirit possess someone here?
HAZEL: yes
MORE SILENCE
COLBY FINALLY SPEAKS UP
COLBY: can you tell us who Tom is? we heard his name in the other room
HAZEL: related
HAZEL: he left...
SAM: who is Tom related to?
HAZEL: wife... house...
she says something that makes her body shift and she lets out a shaky breath.
HAZEL: i swear to god i heard my name. someone said my name.
NATE: what the fuck?
SAM: is this tom we're speaking to?
HAZEL: yes. i am... father
nate shudders.
COLBY: are you... Hazel's father?
no physical response but Hazel nodded her head slowly
HAZEL: pain
Sam glanced at his friends and a theory popped in his head.
SAM: Tom, are you the unnamed lover that Isla talked about in her diary?
HAZEL: yes
The men jumped up from shock that ran through their body.
NATE: your death affected Isla deeply. Does she know how you died?
silence for a few minutes but Hazel spoke a few words that made Sam and Nate take in their surroundings.
HAZEL: i was... killed.
NATE: I think we got the answers we've been looking for he runs his hand through his hair
SAM: takes hazel out from under the headphones every answer you said lined up with the questions we asked
HAZEL: What did you guys catch? Brushes her hair and fixes her shirt
SAM: We talked to Tom. It was confirmed but one thing that I was shocked by was that Tom said he was killed. We didn't anything else about how he died but I was thinking we might find something in Isla's diary
COLBY: He said he was your father. Is there something you're hiding from us?
HAZEL: You wanna know something, Colby? It's impossible for this Tom spirit to be my father. I don't even know who my dad is and I know damn well that Tom is not related to me.
COLBY: But Isla is.
She became angry and stormed out of the room, not listening to Sam's or Nate's calls.
NATE: Dude, what the hell's gotten into you? He punches Colby's arm.
Sam pulled Nate to the side and spoke his concerns about his friend.
SAM: Remember when Hazel said possession when she was under? He glances back at Colby
NATE: Yes, why?
Sam sighed.
SAM: I don't want to assume but what if we're talking about an actual possession? Something that got possessed during our investigation?
Nate chuckled as he tried to dismiss Sam's theory but his smile faded when he realized that Sam was being serious.
NATE: You're not saying that Colby's possessed?
SAM: Yes I am and we need to sage him fast.
The camera cuts off and a few words displayed on the screen.
COLBY HAS BEEN ACTING STRANGE DURING THE ENTIRE INVESTIGATION AND AFTER DOING THE ESTES METHOD, IT HAS BECOME CLEAR THAT THIS IS SOMETHING SERIOUS.
