Tanya's POV
It was getting difficult for them to actually get by, and with kagami getting his third fricken foul even i wanted to hit him. It was our ball and i saw Tsugawa bump into kuroko, and got scared nearly to death. He then started to brag to kuroko, and this is where i got annoyed. 'And here i thought kise's bragging was annoying' i thought as i sighed. Looking at my teammates i saw that what he said brought them some bad memories, and in honesty that pissed me off. We got started again and i saw kuro moving behind the defense and smiled. 'At least he keeps a steady head.' I thought.
they were all on man to man defense and in honesty its getting annoying. "They have been right up on them the whole game." Furihata says and i nodded knowing that this win wont be easy. We then saw Izuki throw the ball torwards Mitobe, and everyone else thought that it was reckless till kuro came from behind them and redirects the ball to mitobe, and he makes the shot. The audience started talking, and quite hilariously i found it. As the boys played the more they woke up it made me smile knowing that this team is built on trust and family.
Just as the first quarter was ending we closed the gap greatly making us tied. I was quite excited to see the boys catch up in such short time. "So i heard that this guy said something stupid again." The captain of Seiho said holding Tsugawa and my team told them flat out that they got over it. As we all sat down i heard Tsugawa yelling about how it couldn't be true and that they aren't even close to achieving their goal. 'Yep he is definitely arrogant, and that hasnt changed.' I thought while trying to zone back into my team's next moves.
3rd POV
Seiho's captain, iwamura, told Tsugawa to shut up and sit down. He then told his team to not let their guard down, and that they should not think that Seirin is weaker because they aren't. "Dead on. Don't underestimate them. Glad you know what were dealing with Iwamura. We are both high school teams, but that's not all we have to worry about boys." Coach Matsumoto said and they looked to him with confusion. "What do you mean coach?" Iwamura said, and the coach simply looked over to the seirin team and pointed to the girl with teal in her brown hair. This caused all of them to look but only one coward in fear.
"You see that girl. She is no laughing matter. It has never mattered whether boy or girls team she has played against all of them. I'm surprise she isn't a starter, but that just means that they save her strength." The coach said, but caught a glimpse of Tsugawa who was practically frozen with fear. "Tsugawa I'm guessing by that reaction you know her?" He asked making the rest of the team look in his direction only to be quite surprised that he looks terrified. "W-well i-i umm yea i know her. I-i umm dont want to be put against her." He said making his team quite surprised that he would run from defending someone.
"Oh cmon she can't be that bad. Can she?" Kasuga said, but one glance to the coach and Tsugawa changed everyone's mind on that. "She is faster than even me, and she never fell for any of my traps. I couldn't block her even if my life depended on it." Tsugawa said getting angry, but still afraid. "This fear isn't from that alone is it?" Coach asked he nodded his head. "She is not a very nice lady when she gets mad. She terrifies me to this day." He said and his team was surprised. "If she steps on the court you will all have to watch out, because she is the strongest of the generation of miracles." The coach said and this made the team on high alert.
Tanya's POV
As riko was telling them to tighten up i felt like i was being watched as i looked over i saw all of Seiho staring at me including Tsugawa. 'Huh he looks terrified. Guess he remembers not to annoy, or anger me.' I thought. "Also kagami watch the fouls." I heard riko say and his reaction was that of a goofball. As they entered the second quarter kagami and kuro got past them. I saw kagami and started to worry. 'He is sweating way too much. I know he shouldn't be sweating this much in the second quarter.'
I heard Tsugawa and his other teammate and in to be honest they creeped me out. As they were started playing again i saw what Tsugawa was planning to do, but before i had the chance to yell at kagami he ran into Tsugawa getting his fourth foul. I sighed standing up started to re-stretch my arms. "Hey Riko i want to be put in pretty soon here, but your probably going to want to hit kagami soon here. I said as she rubbed her head she stopped and got up. "Excuse me I'm putting in a sub." Riko said and that got his attention.
"I'll be fine i just have to make sure that i don't foul him anymore right." He said still wanting to play. "Koganei, tsuchida I'm putting you guys in right now. Tanya ill switch mitobe out a little later ok, he's willing to trade spots with you if you are alright with that?" Riko asked and i nodded as kuroko and kagami came towards the bench i took off my tshirt ready for anything. As we watched them it was quite impressive that they all had a special little trick.
As saw Izuki hold the ball and yell out, "one eyes open, stay careful." And his persona changed, and soon enough he showed us his true skill of being able to see with and eagle eye. "Izuki can see it, with his eagle eye." Riko said and kagami was confused as to what that is while Riko explained it to him kuroko looked at me. "Is that what yours is?" He asked and i shook my. "No mine is very different, but i dont want to reveal it just yet." I said and he nodded his head.
'Huh not miracle strong, but they all have one thing that makes them a strong part of this team.' I thought. As we saw konganei trying to shoot form any angle, but it was too low and wouldn't make the basket. As more of it went one i used my eyes to see how different they all are, but as soon as i came back to reality i saw koganei getting the ball back in play, but not being able to stop. I pushed kagami over a bit more and got up myself just in time to dodge koganei, but he knocked himself out.
Riko looked at me and i nodded my head, but tsuchida came up to me and put his hand on my shoulder. "I believe you and kuroko should both go out there." He said surprising hygua and the others, but they smiled and nodded. "Kuroko let me handle tsugawa, because in all honesty i want another crack at him to take that ego of his down a notch." I said towards the entire team and they all nodded. I walked in front of Tsugawa and he flinched terribly. "I see you remember me. Hopefully you remember of how your tricks dont work." I said smirking and his face dropped faster than kuroko's passes.
I saw Izuki getting ready to make an attack and i saw his eyes change for a split second. 'Huh never would have guess he has an eagle eye. Handy, but its a good thing hes better with his eagle eye that than his puns.' I thought as i broke past Tsugawa in an instant and yelled to Izuki for the ball. He heard me and threw it my way. I caught it and ran past all the boys with speed faster than them and dunked the ball with i will admit more power than I probably should've. It wobbled, but thankfully didn't break. We continued getting more and more points. In honesty they even tried double teaming me, but that didn't work in their favor at all.
The game kept going and none of us gave up, and it all came down to one final dunk and we won against the king Seiho. We were all so excited i felt Izuki and koganei pick me up and all i could do was laugh. 'Yea this is where i want to be. This is what basketball is about.' I thought while smiling and laughing.
Kasamatsu's POV
The look on Tanya's face was stunning in all honesty i think she captured everyone's hearts. It was surprising to see how many guys in the audience had hearts in there eyes just by seeing her smile. "Seems like that hasn't changed at all. Im surprised that even if she has no memory she is still able to capture any man's heart with that smile." Kise said as he looked to her with a soft smile and almost longing in his eyes. "So what is your story seems to me like pretty much anyone who has met her before is in love with her, so does that mean all the miracles like her?" I said and he flinched. "Sadly yes we all did fall for her some more than others, and kuroko and one other actually just saw her as siblings, but i guess now we all are." He said making me a little jealous.
As they set her down I couldn't help but still see her smile, and I couldn't help but fall for her smile. As the whistle blew for the end of shutoku game and they won. "Uh Kasamatsu um looks like we've been spotted." Kise said looking at Tanya, who was in fact was staring straight at us smirking. 'Crap and here i thought it was just plays she could spot not people in a crowd. I was surprised.' I thought as she started walking walking away. So it will be time for the final of the preliminaries. Then we will see who will be Tokyo's champion.
