Tanya's POV

The crowd chanting my last name definitely made me worried of how people would treat me after this, but i knew as long as i had my family and my boys. I'd never be alone again, and for me that's all i need. "Gotta say miss Takimoto i did not expect you to be the daughter to the great Masaru. I can't wait to play you today." I heard Himuro say i looked at him and saw the rest of his team look at him like he was crazy.

Taiga's POV

Tatsuya is putting the moves on her again and its starting to piss me off. I was just about to walk closer when her response caught me off guard. She started laughing. "Haha. That's funny Himuro, but yes i am and just because I am doesnt mean to treat me any different. A name is so simple yet it can mean so many things, but the Takimoto name is just a name. Its the people who have made it great that are who you need to watch out for. Not the name." She finished with that smirk that scares opponents, but I can't help but love. 'Damn she sounds even more ready now. Though im glad she isn't falling for his flirts or game, but the way she responded to that made her so much cooler.' I thought looking at Tatsuya who looked very surprised of how she talked back.

As we were sitting on our bench i was holding my chain that held the ring. I took a quick side glance and saw Tanya passing next to me. "Hey Tanya?" She turned around and faced me quickly. "Hmm what is it?" She asked i looked down again staring at her feet. Next thing i knew i saw her knees and saw her staring at me. "Taiga what's wrong?" She asked in a soft voice, and i couldnt say no to it. "I need you to throw this out for me." I said handing her the necklace. "But Taiga this means so much to you. I-" i cut her off. "Its fine. Besides i wouldn't be able to focus with it. Plus i think its time to let go of it. He's made it clear he doesn't want to be brothers anymore." I said as i put it in her hand  and got up getting ready to face Yosen.

Tanya's POV

I held onto his necklace as he and the team were being informed by coach about Yosen and what type of team they are. When they bowed i saw the intensity they were showing. 'Three of them are well over 6 ft nearly seven for some. They aren't just tall , they're strong like a thousand year old tree.' I thought then saw them getting ready for the tip off. I heard all of them speaking with each other till the ref came. I saw how high the ball went but- 'its not high enough. Mura is going to get a violation.' I thought just as it happened and i sat down with hitting my hand to my forehead in a annoyed view. 'He is still ridiculous of not timing it correctly geez.' I thought looking back at the ref who had a very confused look on his face.

We got the ball and started it off passing it faster than most teams could. Hyuga tried to get a three but it was immediately shot down by Mura. I smiled a bit knowing that size isn't always the greatest thing to have, as i watched Izuki pass and kuro got it before himuro. Getting it to taiga but again was blocked by Mura. I stood up surprised but then remembered a small memory.

*flashback*

"Mura why is it you dont like moving in basketball that much?" I asked after a small practice game. "Huh why would i? Its so boring and id be so tired." He said as he was eating his snacks till i took it away to get his full attention. "Mura its not about being tired you play simply because you believe your good, but to truly be good you need to have a specialty. Something that speaks to you the loudest in basketball. Like your defense its really air tight, and hey you cover the entire area front the three point line. Mura you can't say you hate it when secretly you love it, but just wont show it." I said giving his snacks back and went to get changed. What i didnt see was his surprised look but soft smile as i walked away.
