Kaijo Vs Tōō

Tanya's POV

   When the memories came back i smiled at it, but i came back just in time for the tip off. I saw Kasamatsu got the ball after the tip off, and passed it to kise. Though he got blocked by kise, Aomine stole it and this got the first basket for Tōō. this caused them to get back a three of their own from Kasamatsu. 'He's just the figure kise needed. An older brother. I think this does make him a better player.' I thought as i chuckled see Kasamatsu hitting kise again. In all honesty i was surprise how quickly they were willing to guard for kise. Then i saw it. 'That's what he's willing to do.' I thought as i see him go into a defensive stance that i remember showing him. 'Kise don't do anything too reckless.' I hoped. 

Kise's POV

   I entered one of the defense stances Tanyachii taught me where there was no room for the opponent to get past. 'Funny she said i could never copy, but she would teach me. Sad to say no matter how hard i tried to copy her moves I couldn't, till she taught me some.' I thought as i now watched Aominechii with a close eye. As i did he started to try and get past. I was able to block him off again, but he pulled a formless shot. I then jumped as high as i could and caught the ball.  After that we've been able to pull ahead. 'I want to keep my promise to Tanyachii. I want her to see me as her equal.' I thought as we continued till the buzzer. For the first quarter. 

   "Good job you guys especially you kise." Coach said as i took a drink moriyama said that its going well against Aominechii, but even i knew better. "Also kise, something's been on my mind." Moriyama said as i looked at him. "That girl, Tanya is her name. What did she say to you, because she talked to you for quite awhile." I flinched at that, and remembered what i promised her. 

*flashback to in the locker room*

    "Kise i know you've gone up against Aomine more than the others, but he hasnt even shown his teammates what he can do. I want you to promise that you'll be careful. I can't bare to see you harmed or any of your team." She said softly i hugged her and put my head on her shoulder as she hugged back. "Please Ryota promise me." She said my first name and i froze. I hugged tighter and whispered in her ear. "I promise I'll be careful." Then gave her a kiss on the cheek. I probably shouldn't have, but the worry she had was too much. 'I can't let her down especially after she said my name like that.' I thought as she left after she told me about her check up too. 

*end of flashback*

   "She uh made a bet with me. That's it. She's really competitive too so we made a bet." I said hoping they would believe me. "Right and that kiss on her cheek was that a way to seal the bet." He asked i flinched. 'Damn he saw that.' I began to freak. "She made you promise something didn't she?" He asked and i was horrified. "Huh seems I'm right. I wont ask about what since its not my place, but if you don't make a move soon someone else might. I got annoyed with that one. 'I wont lose Tanya, even if i have to fight for her love.' I thought. 

3rd POV 

     "Hey guys how did you beat Kaijo?" Kyoshi asked as the rest had a sweat dropped. "Uh with spirit maybe?" Kagami answered having no idea. "It was actually because they underestimated for too long. They should know not to, but with a newly formed school they saw us as weaker. Kise did too till the last quarter then they fought with everything they had. So not spirit it was just shear pride and ego from them." Tanya said while watching Kaijo's bench closely. They all looked to her in confusion. "Is something on your mind Tanya. You seem almost worried." Izuki asked wondering what could make her this serious.

      "It could just be my imagination, but i think why they keep having Kise on Aomine is because Kise thinks he can do something that I've warned him takes time and work to overcome and perfect." She said staring straight at the blondes head. "Like?" Hyuga asked. "That's the thing i wont know till i see him play again and do the same movements in the second quarter. Right now it is only a theory." Tanya said once more as we saw them getting ready for the second quarter. They all watched as Tōō  didn't take a raging start. 'Why are they calmer than i thought they would be.' Hyuga thought "Tōō  isn't acting out, because Aomine shifted gears. He's putting more pressure and force on the court than we can actually realize right now." Tanya said getting their attention.
