Start of the preliminaries

Tanya's POV

       The tip off began, and we got the ball. Passing left and right earning our first points quickly. We continued our pace and with Kyoshi it was better we did get a lot more rebounds than we use to. Kagami was getting angry that he wasn't getting the ball as often, but kyoshi stopped that with hitting Taiga on the head several times. I couldn't help but giggle at the act in front of me. Hyuga was making threes nonstop. I saw in the corner of my eye, imayoshi, and Sakurai. 'Huh why are they here? I doubt that they would be here just for the fun of it.' I thought as i heard Izuki call out my name and i got passed the ball. I ran past all the people and got past that perv and jumped making a dunk.

      It was fun to see hyuga and kyoshi work so well together made me smile. 'They work so well together. I'm surprised he is the iron heart, but you would never know that with his personality.' I thought as i heard taiga finally get the ball wanting to make a dunk, but he jumped higher than the hoop?!?! Knocking his head against it and falling flat on his back in a daze. 'THIS DUMBASS HES COMPLETELY RECKLESS!!!! I know i helped his training, but damn these results are more than I could've hoped for.' I thought as the first quarter was over. "Need a break Tanya?" Kyoshi asked and i smiled but shook my head no. "I'm fine thank you." I said as i drag taiga to our bench.

      Continuing on the routine that we have with hyuga and kyoshi was working extremely well. This in turn pissed off taiga because he didn't get the ball as much. Sighing to myself i took off my wristband and sling shot him in the face. "The hell was that for?!!" He yelled to me but I glared to him. "One you need to cool way down, your not getting the ball because your having he defenders focused on you. Two do you see them behind the basket first row." I said as he turned around and saw them. We continued on as we kept going up in points. As we won that game. We kept going with all the games until we got to the semifinals of the preliminaries.

       We were able to beat shensican and moved on. As we walked through a hallway and i saw the man sitting in the dark hallway. I noticed Kysohi stopped and now that got me thinking very much. "Sorry guys why don't you go on ahead." He said and I stared at him not liking this, but we went on anyways and stopped near the entranced the hallway. "So did Kyoshi forget something?" Furihata asked and hyuga shook his head. "Could it have something to do with the guy in that hallway?" Kagami asked and hyuga was surprised he saw him. As he told us about Makoto Hanamiya I couldn't help but feel like I knew that name personally. Suddenly I felt someone bump into me hard. "Oh golly jeepers hope your okay there sweets." The voice said and for some reason that female voice  sounded terrifyingly familiar.
   
    I looked to the voice to see piercing dark grey eyes a sinister smile on her face with her black hair just at her shoulders but was never even. I took a step back in instinct not to trust this lady. "Oh hey now sweets don't get too mad would hate for ya to loose your temper wouldn't we." She said and that right there reminded me of one person who even now I never wanted to remember.

*flashback*

     Insulted and cornered after a game by a chick with piercing dark grey eyes that held no such thing of care. Just hatred and evil. "Sweets you better back out of this competition. I'm not willing to be nice to honest players like you. Makes me sick seeing people like you work so hard." She said. I stood up taller, and glared at her. Even thought she is a third year, i wouldn't back down from this. She has insulted the game i love and hold so close to my heart. "Well Mileena not everyone is as dishonest as you and your boyfriend Hanamiya. I will not be backing down from anything, and if you so much as dare harm my teammates i will come after you." I said and she just scoffed, and walked away saying. "Well hope you dont loose your anger sweets. We'd hate to see ya loose your temper on the court now would we."
